If there is such a "Project Safe Child" why are our children allowed to sit next to men in the downtown library, while they watch porn so our taxpayers money allows this to go on .The higher up people know this ,as a community maybe we needed to address this problem.

Soundslike our public library computers need to be monitored -- this is scary and definitely unacceptable and hopefully somebody will take some action!

How is that possible? They should have crazy filters on the library computers, but I guess they do not. Really a shame to hear that.

Have you spoken to the library staff about this? If so what did they say they would do about it, and did you hold them accountable for following through. If you did not speak with the library staff, why not? Hold them accountable for allowing such behavior. The Squeaky wheel gets the oil you know. We each can make a diffrence if we do more than just complain.

The public libraries are too busy making sure there are no BIBLES in their inventory to be worried about the man sitting next to a child whacking off.
So goes the ACLU!!!

You seem to have an opinion on EVERYTHING, the only problem with that is... nothing you say is the least bit interesting, nor does it contribute ANYTHING to society.

Thats very true, I do have my opinions as does everyone else here. Whether or not you approve is of no consequence to myself. The purpose here is to exchange thoughts and ideas, you never know, you might learn something, like civility.

Pedophilia and religion go together like peanut butter and jelly. How does throwing out the books that so many pedophiles hide behind make one a "closet pedophile"?
By avoiding religion entirely, one eliminates the majority of opportunities to for one's child to be victimized. Then there is the issue of whether it is abuse to raise a small child in fear of hell or god's wrath.

Is it here, here or hear, hear? Can't remember. Theism has done more to destroy lives in so many ways it is beyond me why folks will hang on to it. Sure I can think of of plenty of reasons but non are rational. As religion plays on irrational fears. I just don't get why sane people will voluntarily swallow it.
