Why does everyone assume she was falling down drunk? Has anyone ever said this in a press release? It seems to me alot of people feel a need to blame RMC and the police. |
You're right, if she was intoxicated she should have been noticed by law enforcement working the event and picked up for DIP. Would have been a shame for her to spend the night in jail perhaps, but she would not have vanished without a trace. But, where are you reading that information? |

1 I am not assuming anything other than something obviously was wrong. Wrong with her in some way whether it was not being in total control by her own means or by the means of a predator. However, I would like to think that the security inside and outside of the arena includes taking notice of all people, not just drunks. We are very consumed with drunks, especially when there is a concert in town. We gladly put a drunk in a safe place. Maybe we should be more aware of others around us. She may have not become a "Missing Person". |

1 I am not reading any information about this. It just makes sense that she was not in total control of herself either by means of her own or the means of a predator. I think we need to pay more attention to those around us, at all times. It may save us or someone else. |

1 What information has been so important? At this point it has had enough news time that people should know if they had seen her or not. What more does the public need to know? She missing. Here's her picture. She was last seen in the area of JPJ. beyond that what else is there? Everything else that people think needed to be released and was soooo important was just because they are being nosey. There was nothing in the press release that changed anything. |

1 You're right. There should be one security person for every attendee at every event and that person should follow the ticket holder around all night and make sure they get home ok and put them into bed. Security and the police can't be everywhere. If there was something wrong with her and she was scene by security or police something would have been done, but you can't be everywhere. There were enough fights and disorderly drunks inside that needed attention. What it seems you are getting at in your comment is that since she was a young pretty girl she should have been noticed and taken care of. At least that's what i'm getting out of it. So we should start putting young girls in jail to protect them? give them rides where they need to go? What else? Do you realize this is a college town and a generally pedestrian friendly city? People walk everywhere. Somebody did something that caused her to go missing. Things like that happen everyday in america and it sucks, but you can't start placing blame. The only one at fault is the person who created the circumstance for her to go missing. which we don't know what or who was. |

I don't see that this is any new information other than the picture of her necklace. That could be a valuable piece of information if someone knows somebody who has shown off such a piece in the last couple of weeks. It was pretty well known all along that Morgan was looking for a ride to a destination unknown, either JMU or VT. Since the possibility that she had called a friend for a ride seemed to have been discounted, how else was it thought that she would have found a ride? I can't see much distinction between asking someone you do not know in a parking lot for a ride, and having a thumb stuck out on the side of a road. Both are very dangerous actions. To anyone, especially young females and males, there are no-goods out there who have no hesitation to crack you over the head for $5 or the chance to steal an expensive jacket, or just for the thrill. NEVER get in a car with someone you don't know. |

The hitchhiking thing makes no sense at all. Why would she leave her purse and cell phone in the parking lot and go and try to hitchhike a ride and borrow a stranger's cell phone?
Early reports state that her cell phone was missing the battery, but she had called her friends on that cell phone after she was outside the arena. Has anyone wondered why the battery was missing--maybe so she couldn't be traced by the cell phone signal? |

All it would have done for this information to have been broadcast from Dr. Phil's show is to further muddy the waters. The hitchhiking story is preposterous! |
The Hook article does not say she interacted with the basketball players so why the quotation marks around what you have written. The article states that numerous sources have said that among the last to "see" Morgan in the RV lot were some members of the basketball team. For people who aren't aware, U-Hall is now used as a practice facility, and the Hook article states that athletes park in the RV lot during big events. |
Why is the hitchhiking story preposterous? Wouldn't have been a good decision on Morgan's part, but leaving the security of the lighted area around the arena to wander several poorly lit parking lots also wasn't a wise decision. Does that make her responsible for what might have happened, of course not. It's a sad fact that we live in a world where there are people just waiting for someone to make a mistake or do something totally out of character. I'm very afraid, if Morgan was indeed the person seen in the lots, that she made that mistake and someone took advantage of the opportunity. |
You are absolutely ridiculous! We sure put special security out on the holidays for the drunks. A concert for the college aged kids calls for extra security. And, the arena should have enough surveillance cameras inside and outside that in, atleast, one of them Morgan would appear, at some point. Why are you so angry??? |
And why would she look for a ride when her car was the one in the parking lot??? Lots of things just do not add up. |
And, I am not from Northbrook, Illinois. I am from Scottsville, Virginia. I have no idea how that came about.
I have never been to the arena when there were not security and cops all over the place from beginning to end. At any rate, the poor girl is missing and her family and friend's are suffering. God Bless All Of Them! |
