IRS Sent $46,378,040 in Refunds to 23,994 ‘Unauthorized’ Aliens at 1 Atlanta Address

The Internal Revenue Service sent 23,994 tax refunds worth a combined $46,378,040 to “unauthorized” alien workers who all used the same address in Atlanta, Ga., in 2011, according to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA).

That was not the only Atlanta address theoretically used by thousands of “unauthorized” alien workers receiving millions in federal tax refunds in 2011. In fact, according to a TIGTA audit report published last year, four of the top ten addresses to which the IRS sent thousands of tax refunds to “unauthorized” aliens were in Atlanta.

The IRS sent 11,284 refunds worth a combined $2,164,976 to unauthorized alien workers at a second Atlanta address; 3,608 worth $2,691,448 to a third; and 2,386 worth $1,232,943 to a fourth.

The numbers are down because the roving criminals are getting better at hiding from police. Bum camps go from Charlottesville all the way to Richmond along the rail lines. Remember the girl killed by a train in back of Luck Stone out on Route 250? She was living at one of the camps. If you are an amateur bumologist talk to the VDOT road crew workers and learn about the villages that don't show up in any census. Better yet, take a train ride every now and then and see the sights along the rails that the liberal media is loathe to talk about. Do your own homeless census by counting the backpack wearing folks that are always walking back and forth between the roads like 250, Avon and Fifth and in Ivy that connect to I-64 where they enter and leave town by catching rides with motorists and truckers. These guys are homeless with a purpose---if you don't stay in any one place too long the police back home looking for you won't be able to serve their warrants.

When are we going to see the article that tells the public how many wandering felons have been quietly extradited back to their home states during the past five years? Don't hold your breath people.

clearly they need a software update
a flag for so many rfds to the same address is a nobrainer
If the IRS doesn't have the resources and/or the authority to reallocate them to shore up the bleeding, then demonstrate to congress why not and what it needs to accomplish the overhaul.
Someone/something needs to be accountable.

Wasn't it only two months ago that C-ville applied for money tax-dollars to address homelessness?

Its old fat white guys in congress who are paid to do nothing about the immigration problem. Thats why nothing gets done. Companies and corperations make a fortune off immigrant labor, why change the law? ain't gonna happen. They blame it on politics buts its the same old story, greed. The refurbishing of MJH is being done by ALL immigrant labor. You can see every day at quittin time. Where's 29 on that story?

Does the bum housing include the three junk cars near Freebridge that the police regularly sweep the WFOCSs (Wandering Felons On Charlottesville Sabbatical) out of?

Why not get the money from the downtown mall and intersection beggars by levying a tax on them? They can afford it since some openly boast of making one or two hundred tax free dollars a day.

A fellow shopper at "Half" Foods laughingly told me that he recognized two as being UVA summer school students.

Yeah, deploy shakedown-maids (would wear same uniform as meter-maids) that patrol the mall 24/7, confiscating 30% of the panhandlers profit, which is always 100%.
