Thieves are so confident. He came into our office complex and went to every business asking for donations. I knew something was wrong when he asked that the check be made out in his name. People like him make it difficult for ligetimate charitys to get donations. Hope he get's more than probation.

If you felt something was up why did you give him money anyway?

The sad story sounded good and seemed to be for a good cause. He played on my emotions of wanting to help our wounded soldiers. I am a very busy business man and only wanted to help a good cause. It was only $25.00 which will not make or break me. I'm glad this leech of society was caught. I will continue to give when I am able because there are people that need help. I will just have to do a better job of investigation into people that solicit. I cannot take my money to the grave with me so if I am able to help, I will.

Randy has always been crooked. I have known him for years and he hasn't changed a bit. He grew up in Albemarle County. I thought we had gotten rid of him when he moved to Florida but he slithered back.

This scumbag has left a trail of victims in the Charlottesville area over the years and always seems to walk. Justice system has failed us all when it comes to this one. Hopefully all those affected will come forward and he will finally get what’s coming to him. Don’t know why it’s taken this long but I won’t be surprised to see him walk this time too.

Right you are. This guy was arrested on one felony charge for Charlottesville and three felony counts for Albemarle. He has a history of convictions for similar offenses. The county also has him awaiting a court date for driving without a license. He carries a driver's license with an altered date. The magistrate released him on his own recognizance. He doesn't seem like the kind of person whose word I would trust. Then we hear in town that the day after his release he was out trying to pull more scams. The courts and magistrates in this town are truly a disappointment.

What is most disgusting is he was trading on his father's name and probably people assumed he was a retired marine when he is a JR and never was allowed to serve. He also has used the "good ol' boys club" because his father was a former Sheriff's Deputy too.

He would and has screwed his family too.

Hopefully this time they will put him away for good. Anyone see his response to the Daily Progress article - it is laughable. He doesn't feel he is guilty? Really? Two people caused the event to be canceled? Well, bring them forward as your witnesses. I guess they were imaginary people.

People like him should be under the jail.

FYI - took his 14 year old daughter to FL, abandoned her at the beach with nothing and took her last $10 so he could go on a crack binge. Yup - that is the type of scum he is.
