And this is exactly why women are afraid to defend themselves when the husband is beating them black and blue.

I wonder if she will be able to collect on his life insurance since, after all, he didn't commit suicide so the policy will most likely stay in force. A nice nest egg to start over with. Most women use divorce court to hit the lottery but maybe this gal has a new take on an old theme?

Too often there is a lot more to a story than what the public gets fed here in the land of the triple tint Jademobile.

Debbie and her husband had been told to stay away from each other- so what where they doing together that day?? I know she said her husband was abusive to her- but he was also in a wheel chair. This woman had previous mental problems- and she had been arrested before on a felony- so legally she wasnt even supposed to have the gun!!! Why is it that the people who are criminals are always the ones that have the guns??? If she were a felon - why would she still be able to go to a gun shop and still buy ammunition?? Some kind of tighter laws need to be put in place!!!

Not a chance in the world that she will collect on his life insurance.

You are not thinking...you can always find a gun to buy if you are a felon. If she had bought it at a gun shop, she would have been background checked, but she could have bought it at a gun show, no background checks. Why do criminals have guns? They can get them so easily and society is swamped with all kinds of guns. We are dreaming if we think that there will be an assault weapons ban because too many of those types of guns are too difficult to define as an assault weapon. It will never happen. Get used to scenes like Sandy Hook and Aurora because nothing will be done to stop it from happening. More mental health treatment for the mentally ill? Where is the money going to come from? Call your elected representatives, however they are not going to listen to you. They will listen to the NRA.

It takes a lot of courage to shoot a guy in a wheelchair three times in the back of the head.

Truly the legal system has become a joke.

Henry was not in a wheel chair. I don't know where that came from but is false. He left his wife a month before she shot him to death. She says she was so afraid of him than why she want to meet up with him. He was trying to move on so why not let him if he was beating her everyday. Maybe in her 23 years of jail she can get some help and pray to god for forgiveness
