An Amtrak train has stopped on the tracks near the Croydon trai...

The train reportedly struck a deer and may require a repair. It happened about 7:15 a.m. on the R7 tracks just past the Croydon train station in Lower Bucks County.

Hunters cause greater deer movement. Hunters are presently inside Neshaminy State Park which is closeby. One explanation could be that this deer was attempting to flee a human predator in the park or elsewhere. Then again it is rutting season which puts deer at greater risk for accidents. Motorists should be most vigilant.
