Just another attempt by politicians to pander to the gun lobby. Is there a lot of crime in restaurants? Are people getting shot in restaurants because they cannot defend themselves? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

"Is there a lot of crime in restaurants?"...enough, yes.

"Are people getting shot in restaurants because they cannot defend themselves?"...too many, yes.

My ability to carry concealed is not broke...and I will continue to do it whether a "frustrated control freak" such as yourself likes it or not. It ain't broke and doesn't need fixing from someone like you.

I agree, everyone should have a gun. So they can shoot people they see that have guns. In fact the waiters and waitresses should be armed too, just in case you leave a dime tip!

Thank you for the compliment.
However perhaps you missed the point. I think everyone should have a gun, and they should be free for the homeless, mentally ill and others without an income. It would be shameful to ignore the less fortunate.
Perhaps the Salvation Army could help distribute them.
It's the right thing to do.

Since Democrats in this country are the equivalent of Jews in Germany in 1933, all members of our National Republican Party (NRP) should carry guns. It is the least they can do for the fatherland to stamp out the free thinking deviationists in our society.

Tell that to the victim's families from the Luby's Diner in Texas. Or to the families of the 4 cops who were killed in a diner in Washington state. Criminals can strike anywhere, numbnutz.

Who said anything about "need"...? From your point of view YOU don't NEED a smoke alarm in your house...YOU don't NEED a fire extinguisher in your house...YOU don't NEED a spare tire in your car...YOU don't NEED insurance on your car...YOU don't even NEED seatbelts in your car either...there would be a LONG list of things that YOU don't NEED.
