"He was praised for using Navajo common law in his work as a judge. Retired District Court Judge Loretta Morris said Becenti disciplined attorneys who came into court trying to use outside laws. He told them the Navajo Nation has its own laws, Morris said".

Part of the pioneering Navajo generation that established a Navajo Government for the people and by the people.
These people like Judge Becenti truely represented and delivered on their appointments on behalf of Navajo people they represented.
I truely miss this generation of Navajo pioneers (as my Che' was one of them), but the responsibility has been handed over to us.
What have YOU done lately on behalf of the Navajo people represent either as an Official or as a Good Navajo member?
