Merrillville loses first round in 101st Avenue battle

Lake Superior Court Judge John Pera ruled against the town of Merrillville in a preliminary injunction hearing Friday.

Why don't we ever hear about the $290,000.00 that
is missing from the Merr. Treasurers Office.

It was in the news last year but hasn't been anything said about it since then.

Seems like Merr. is in need of money...
Why not find the missing (over 1/4 million dollars)

Where is the money.....
Money was missing last year from Merr. Treas. Office and also from the Lake Co. Treas. office a few months ago,according to newspaper articles.
Why is there no news about this???
Or are the taxpayers going to have to be gouged for excessive tax money because there is nobody watching the door. Why do the citizens have to make up shortfalls that are not their fault.

$290,000.00 is a lot of revenue to go missing.
Get the missing money back and use it for what it
was intended for.
