I received a notice that I can not have my trash cans on the side of my house where people can see them from the street. Our cans sit about 5 feet from our next door neighbor. I asked them if they received a notice and they said no. Across the street is a lady that is a good friend of mine and her cans were overflowing with trash and on the side of her house and still no notice was given to her. I drove around the neighborhood looking for violators of this rule and what did I find. Every other house has trash cans on the side of there house with trash overflowing. Not to mention the people that have trash on the curb already and it wasn't even close to trash day. And people with cans in front of their garage. Why was I singled out? I think I am being harassed by the city. Is there anyone else being harassed by the city for something everyone else is doing?

I had this same thing happen in Ft Worth. Mine were between my garage doors and my truck which was there all the time while I had a hurt back. Yes they could bee seen but only if you were 3 house down looking at a angle. 3 houses within 2 houses each direction from mine had theirs in plain sight every day for over a year and none of them even got a warning. Yet a few months after my warning my neighbor moved mine to that same spot while I was away for the weekend and by monday afternoon I had a ticket that cost $301. Code compleince officer in court said Only I was reported by a "neighbor" so Only I got a ticket.
