I usually vote in the GOP Primary, but the attorney general's office is a huge mess!.

They came to our county in 2006 after a felon on probation took over some TXDOT land. They got him off the land but didn't press criminal trespass charges that would have revoked his probation. In 2010 he took over a public road. In court the Asst AG - part of a 4 party case said "I'm really not sure what I'm doing here" Several in the audience complained to Abbot- he never responded.

I don't know the Democrat but nothing could be more hopeless than the incumbent.

Right now the State of Texas cannot afford to have a democrat as Attorney General given our proximity to Mexico and the illegal immigration problems.

If we elect a democrat Attorney General then Obama will just have another pawn to use in his fight to allow the flood of illegals to continue across our border. We don't need to be another Arizona who has a democrat for Attorney General and has refused to help Arizona fight Obama.

I doubt you finished 5th grade so taking a stab at "separation of powers" and federal questions will be way out of your league. Obama only steps in when federal rights have been trampled on. He plans to do the same thing to fight California if it makes pot legal this month.

Coming from an Obama supporter I'll take your post as a compliment and let you figure out why.

Obama and his administration uses immigration policies/laws just like voter rights laws and interpreting the Constitution for their own political agenda. Just like the federal judge and the current Don't Ask Don't Tell policy in the military who is legislating from the bench. Just like the current Obamacare lawsuits where Obama and his cronies first claimed the bill contained a "penalty" but now after they realize it's against the Constitution and they got the bill passed by lying to the American people it has become a "tax".

You are extraordinarily naive to think that what Obama is dong in Arizona is anything other than political but that's your own choice and after all ignorance is bliss. You must be one happy camper..........well at least until November 2, 2010 that is.
