Hello To All,
As most people know in Quanah I, Dolly have been working at the Food Bank and doing all I can to help the people in our community. We do need donations to keep things running smoothly. You can bring donations to the First United Methodist Church M-F 9 am to 12 Noon or 1:30pm to 4pm. Also you can take donations to your church and ask them to get the donations to the FUMC. If you would like a list of food we recently stock in the pantry. Just email me at dah2367@att.net.
Also I am working on getting The Angel Food Ministries, and if you want more info on that program go to http://www.angelfoodministries.com/ . Please, if you think you would use this program or would like to volunteer please email me also. For if we can get a list of people of 250 or more then we can have a drop place here in Quanah. Me and my minister are hoping to get this program started soon but it takes people to help out with putting boxes together, taking orders and other things. This program is not just for Quanah it would be for anyone in our area. Have any questions just email me.

church does mean 3 or more not having to be held in a church. I would love for the preacher to know what kind of group he has running things. 1 person went to help just to give back her time and Dolly told it as " SHE NEEDS TO GET A JOB!" well soDolly should get a better one and stop talking all the good food her & her hungry greedy people bc not everyone gets foodstamps & church free goodies. Us in community get a limited supply while the others stock up back seats with more than 1 box. ummm no wonder why we never see them in the gocery store.

everyones right about dolly .the preacher does need to check out how she does people.she helps who she wants an turns ones away that really need help.some one needs to go in under cover an video tape how she acts at the food bank.let people see how she really is.going all over town cussing an things an says shes a christain yea right.if your going to run a food bank help people that lives in the whole county.not just your household.the church needs to take a good look at her an her family i bet dont go hungry threw the hollidays cause shell take the food home from the truck.help others dont be so rude cause your nothing.certainly no christain by any means.

I heard that Dolly had can food stack all over her house if so why don't she give it to the food pantry {that's where it came from I heard} or give to shut in I know the shutins do not get a third of the food the people that goes out there to get there own gets they should get more. THE PRODUCE TRUCK I'VE ASK PEOPLE WHAT THEY GOT THE SHUTINS NOT MUCH, THE OTHERS GOT EGGS, LETTUCE, MILK,SODA POPS, CUPCAKES, OR OTHER SWEETS AND BREAD I asked one elder what she got got some bread a package of donuts some grapes that was it.I askes another person what they got she got eggs milk grapes cookies and cupcakes, bread, EVERYONE SHOULD GET THE SAME THINGS.THE ELDERS ARE THE ONES THAT NEEDS HELP WITH FOOD THERE SOCIAL SECURITY CAN NOT PAY THERE BILLS LET ALONG BUY GROCERIES.IF THE PRODUCE AND FOOD NOT GOING TO BE DIVIDED EQUAL THAN WHY GIVE ANY OF IT OUT OR GIVE THE SHUTINS FIRST EVERYTHING THAT'S TO BE GIVEN OUT THAN THE PEOPLE THAT GOES TO PICK IT UP CAN GET THE REMAINER, AFTER REV. HOLLINSHEAD GOT OUT THE FOOD PANTRY WENT TO THE DOWN FAST.

I too have had the misfortune to attend a couple of these Produce Truck events. What a blessed nightmare. People and I use the term loosely, whom she calls her "volunteers" carried out the majority of the food. It went into the back seats or trunks of their cars or was stacked up in a corner where no one could touch it. Elderly people were forced to stand in either the burning heat or freezing cold while her "volunteers" went through to get what they wanted first. Of course, everyone standing outside in the elements was told that all the food they watched being carried out was going to the "homebound". Sadly, the homebound got very little or none of the food. I do not know thhe solution to this dilema. I do know that the program is in the wrong hands. I can assure you that the best of the food goes to Dolly and her "volunteers". I can also assure you that she has more volunteers than she has people coming to pick up their "free" food. I can also assure you that she screams indescriminately at everyone both "volunteers" and people standing in line. There are a great number of community who could and would take advantage of this program who have made the choice to forego the "free' food in order to not be screamed at and ridiculed by convicted felons. I woould love to see the inside of Dolly's house althouh I've never seen her take out anything. On the other hand, Carl Roe, Mikel Ebert and several others homes might be fairly interesting.

I wish the food truck would deliver back at the preschool again. At least there you were aloud To get what you wanted. The food truck is not suppose to be limited. When it was started here the people delivering it explained that the food was not to be rashioned out. I know this because I use to help with it at Turners. It is suppose to be a free for all no matter of your income. If you guys all want that changed, then you need to call the high plains food bank of Amarillo. Also do they not still stop in Chillicothe at the preschool? Because they use to. I guess quanah gets it all now? With the thoughts that Chillicothe is being helped? Also how do you call yourself a person of god but refuse to help a person and put them on the do not help list for food? You better start putting all the other monthly folks on that list to.

SO So sad. I heard the same thing several times. It is open to anyone in any income bracket from anywhere. I have even heard her advertise on the Childress radio station for Childress residents to come if they wanted to get food. Why therefor would she turn away Chillicothe people? I will call the food bank tomorrow. This is beyond nuts! Apparently the only ones who get food or at least the better food are her friends and cronies. I will be sure to file a formal complaint. Hopefully the rest of you will as well.

I am a volunteer. And I myself have 18 homebound people. I promus you I get my peope a bread, sweet, vegetable, milk, eggs, and fruit. I try my best. I am one volunteer that has a full time job. I know Clifton McIntire picks up for 6 to 10 people in chillicothe. If you want on the list respond back to me and I will make sure you get some stuff from the produce truck. Yes Dolly yells at us alot. We are always in trouble for something. But I keep going to do my homebound people. Most of mine cant drive or do not have a way.

thank you for deliverng to your people. That still leaves a lot of food that does not get where it is supposed to go. Hw many of the volnteers take the best of the food for themselves? there is stll a huge problem!

There are 3 or 4 that I have seen my self take to much. I dont sit around and watch everyone. But I will start to watch more. But not all volunteers take the good stuff or take to much for them selves. Yes some do. But Dolly does not lisson when its been told to her. It makes me mad that the "few bad apples" give the rest of the volunteers a bad name. I wish someone else would be in charge of it.

The food truck is not coming at this time as far as I know. She can go to the food bank at the Methodist Church and get groceries. You would have to contact the Quanah Ministerial Alliance or the Methodist Church to find out what days it is open.
