How much does it cost to get in? Can you ski or just fish? Overnight camping? Do they sell live minnows or just worms? Can't wait to check it out.

Tents,rv hookups, cabins, wet bar and cafe next to the docks.Fully stocked.Every bait known to man from a lure to a waterdog.Guided and singular hiking trails for the whole family.Bring the pets as well as the whole family.
Im not sure who to contact and the phone lines are down to all the upgrading. The last person i knew that ran it did such an awsome job with it the people gave him a job controlling something much bigger.Com e on down.

Sounds awesome thanks for all ur info. Can't wait to check it out my kids and family are going to be so excited. Wish I would have found out about this earlier in the summer. Guess I will call the quanah chamber for more info about who to contact etc. Thanks so much. Most helpful and useful thread I have ever used

Before you make any travel plans, please do check with someone. The lake was sold off a couple years ago and closed down by the individual who bought it. There is a crew there now that is in the process of dismantling the old power plant. No one has been allowed out there to fish or recreate in years. And, while I have not been out there myself in recent years, has never been anywhere close to 65 feet in depth (last big drought we had you could walk across it).

Someone is yanking your chain (or I am grossly ignorant of the current state of the property).

You will be wasting your time. Was told it was about foot deep ,all the fish has died.Even if it was in good shape only certain people are allowed in.It's locked up tighter than a crabs ass.

Just arrived back home after a wonderful weekend at Quanah's lake Pauline. Had an absolute blast hated to leave but have to go back to work. Very nice little catfish, bass, and crappie lake. We also rode tubes skied and kneeboarded. Never saw another person the whole time we were there. I had no problem with that though just wondered why nobody utilizes such an awesome recreational area, I figured it would have been packed. I will definitely be back for some more before summer's over.
