First I would like to say what a great story. I am JC's step-aunt.I was never lucky enough to know Karissa. From what her grandfather & grandmother had told me she was a very special and happy little girl.My heart breaks for her parents.Just reading a story like this is so touching. My sister and brother in law were there and they could not beleive the people and the treatment they received in NC. Again what a GREAT story.

My heart is heavy as I think of this couple who lost their little girl. And for the grand parents, one of whom is my Sister.Carol, Carol and Jim drove from NY to NC to comfort and show their love and caring. I was on the phone with her when her daughter came in and I heard screaming and crying. Carol hung up with " I will get back to you in a few" It was a a bit later I heard of Karissas passing. And Then it was a day or two later I was told of the Love pouring out to JC & Diane from the community there. Carol told me of the out pouring of the church. A church doing what all churches should do,but some preach it and never act on it. This church family was there. And I am certain never seeing them or knowing them , they still are, and will be, there for JC & Diane. I was told of the school out pouring. Of the friends and other family members there for support and for their griving of this precious little one. I said prayers for days for all of the family, and for comfort to all who grive for this little one. I believe Karissa is in Jesus arms this very moment. Oh how wonderful heaven will be, and even tho I think of how glorious it will be for us, I today and in the past few days think of how much more I am looking forward to it. Imagine, God making sure children are there. Eternally young, no sickness in their bodies, no sadness in there lives. Karissas smile and joy must have been needed there. She was perfect to go one ahead to welcome her family when its their time to join her again. And I will get to meet her and hug this little one who was and is so loved here . My deepest Sympathy to all who morn her, but espically her Mom & Dad, & All Her grandparents.. God Bless you all. Mary & Buddy Dingler
