I am a 73 year old w/m. Pior to Vytorin I was on Zetia. I went on Vytorin when it came out and amstill on it. In in 1995 a long standing freckle on my left cheek was removed as a melinoma. Going to a determologist every six months I had a melonomia found on my rignt temple in October 2006. Upon removal it was a andenocarconomia. At that time a PET scan found two spots in my right middle lobe. CT scans showed an increase in size of one from May 2007 to September 07, upon removal of the lobe it was an adenocarcarnomia. At the same time frame my PSA was eveating. June 2007 my prostate was removed and amother adeonomocarnomia. The tumer occupied 10% of my prostate. I do not have a history of cancer in my family. This raised great concerns on my part as it appears all of the three cancers started to move at the same general time frame. This short sumary causes me to want more information on Vytorin. I had a heart attack in 2002 and was put on vytorin. In 2003 I got lymphoma and was treated with radiation. In 2005 I had part of my colon removed because I had a precancerous polyp. Then in 2007 I had lung cancer. I am getting concerned about this cancer stuff, because I had previous issues to taking vytorin. Merck is not my greatess company right now. I was taking vioxx for 3 years and had heart attack, now cancer. I am confused.
