What days and hours can we buy liquor and beer in Crossville? Why are liquor stores closed on Sundays?

All I asked was a simple question for a simple answer, can you provide any facts?

If you can't figure it out then maybe you shouldn't be drinking in the first place.

Ever hear of Southern Baptists?

Of course even they have their price.

I'm not absolutely sure, but I think you can buy beer at Walmart after noon.

Yes I have heard of Southern Baptists, but why would they delay alcohol sells until after church? I work 3rd shift and would like to be able to have a couple of beers after work...

Because separation of church and state doesn't mean shit to them.

Ok...I'm the LAST ONE here who would defend anything that a bunch of religious nutjobs do, so take my words as being good advice.

Next week...buy all your booze well in advance of Sunday because NOBODY in Crossville is going to listen to your perfectly lucid arguement.
Even dumber rule....

No bars within a certain distance of any church and restaurants and stores in that area also not allowed to sell alcohol, not even beer. That's ANY day of the week, not just Subdays. STUPID RULE!!!!

It is stupid......You can buy cigarettes on Sunday. You can buy a porno mag on a Sunday. You can do a lot of shit that the holy rollers disagree with on Sunday so why not booze?? lol

I say either give us back our right to purchase booze (if we so chose to) on Sundays OR set aside one day a week where the nutjobs can't purchase a bible or some other stupid shit that goes along with their fairy tale way of thinking.

It is crazy all over. Where I live you can by beer in one store but across the street you can't. City/county. there are several states that you can't buy anything on sunday. In SC you can't get a poured drink, but they give you a little bottle like on airplanes. It is more than a shot....go figure.

The hollyrollers have their sins too, so dont let them make you think they are perfect. they go out of town gambling and other places that people dont c them from here. especially a few from the church of god in mayland. bunch of hippocrates, or they wont go shop where they sell beer, but will have a drink when not in town.

Crossville: no liquor on Sunday because it is STATE LAW. Call your state legislators to change that.

Beer you can buy after 12 noon on Sunday. Also State law.

Good luck changing any of that in Nashville because we have all the nut-job holy roller republicans in control.

Hey folks, YOU elected them!

Allot of people around Crossville are the true definition of sheep, lemmings, minions, puppets and the like. It drives me insane when I talk to a hardcore conservative hollyroller and most of there views are progressive but when it comes time to vote they have to go with the republican, I mean what if the neighbors find out that they voted for someone who cares about anything other then themselves.

Alcohol 7 days a week

Legalize Marijuana

And let the gays get married

I guess we'll have to stop calling this the land of the free.

the southern Baptist hippocrites in this town did not want the liquor stores, and tried to get rid of them before they even started.a good amount of our church going population would never be seen in a liquor store in Crossville, although, they will go out of town on a vacation to places that serve liquor, and enjoy their weekend knowing the rest of the sinning public cant see them. They think just because they go to church we have to be penalized and our life should stop. I say open these stores all day seven days per week, and stop restricting the public from spending their money the way the want. christens wont be seen in liquor stores but they will entertain money making schemes, gamble on internet networking chances, and buy lottery tickets. but the general public has to toll the line and wait till designated times to purchase alcohol.one sided politics, make one part of the population happy but screw the other.
