How does this whole operation work? I have been hearing more and more about them lately. How can a person go to these places and get thousands of dollars worth of pills every month and there be no record of it for law enforcement? How can this be legal?

Its not legal and that why they are getting into so much trouble.Sometimes they use deceased MDs DEA numbers, sometimes they use fake ones.Sometimes they use their own.Either way,any DEA number that continually pops up for pain pills is a red flag and they go under DEA investgation.

Any place that offers an exam and an MRI for 350 is just too good to be true. They are supposed to keep the MRIs on file to show reasons for the scripts. Some places have been known to steal or hack computer systems to obtain other ppls MRIs.Laws are supposed to be being passed now to keep these places from setting up so close to schools, churches and daycare centers. They are also supposed to regulate how many of them can be in certain areas.

They are legal because "good honest people" elected the officials that passed the laws that made them legal.

look guys i understand alot of people go to these clinics for illegal reasons but now there is some that go cause the docs around here just do not believe in giving a person pain meds that will help them.ok my husband has had multiple surgeries and the dr here wanted to just give him hydros well before any surgery procedure that may have worked years ago 5 surgeries later no they wont work so he does go to the clinic BUT HE DOES NOT SALE NOT 1 PILL nor WILL HE BUY ONE IF HE WERE TO RUN OUT EARLY,so believe some do go for legit reasons

I dont beleive anybody goes to them for good honest reasons. They are either trying to get high or selling pills. If a person is truly in pain, a doctor will prescribe them something. Besides these pill mills prescribe sacks full of pills every month. More than a horse could take. They know that they are being sold.

Some ppl do go for legit reasons and then spend 2 days trying to find a pharmacy that will fill their scripts. One funny thing though,no matter who goes,I could almost tell u what they r prescribed.60 Xanax,120 10 mg oxycodone, and 60 30 mg imm release oxycontin. As if everyone has the same problem.

So does everyone who needs pain control also have an anxiety issue?U should look at the biochemistry of this stuff online.Read about long term use and the reaction of the liver and the body in general.I would hate to see anyone suffer needlessly, but that stuff will eventually shut you down.

can you really get this many pills from a pain clinic every month? If you got this many pills each month and sold most of them are we talking big bucks? That would be about 240 pills.

Congratulations on the math, it does add up to exactly 240 pills not about. Now can you tell the rest of the class what 240 pills are worth other than "big bucks"?

Its standard that they gey that many. The xanax doesn't sell for very much but the others were going for half the mg or 5 and 15 each respectively. That would be about 1500 a month.I suppose it would be good money until you got caught and were serving 5 to 10 years in the penitary.

Unfortunately, karma is a huge bi$44.For all the ppls lives u ruin by selling them drugs and all the children that go hungry because mama and daddy traded the food stamp card off for pills, someone will pay somehow for that.

This is heartbreaking for me. I'm pretty sure someone I know is doing this, although they are in pain I feel they are trading or selling. If this is true what would be the right thing to do?
