child warehousing, that's all it is.

they really sell it good but I wouldn't put my kid there.
beside i think the owner, karen, is a bully and was born a man.

if i had to put mine in daycare i'd look at the big central baptist, they do weekly daycare now.

My baby sister went there a few years back and would come home with bite marks more often than not. I snuck in the door quietly one day and heard one of the "teachers" telling a 3 year old to shut up...needless to say she didn't go back!!4

My son goes there and he loves it. He is learning so much. I don't know what experience this other person had, but I personally have observed the classes (without them knowing), and have seen nothing but good. The teachers are great with all the children, and bite marks will happen no matter where you put your child. My child received one from another daycare. The thing is to teach your child not to bite. They are a Early Education 3 star rating by the TN dept of early childhood development. They are open from 0630-1730 daily. There isn't any place that I found when researching daycare/preschools that stayed open past 1730. I hope this helps. If nothing else, go do a site visit and talk to them about letting your child spend the day there. My son loves it!!

I'm guessing you're friends with the owner?? How would me teaching my sister not to bite prevent her from getting bit?? Half the "teachers" are stoners. They didn't pay attention... too busy gossiping amongst themselves. Sorry but there were a few with red glazed over eyes every morning..

No not friends of the owner and no one else there. I moved here from somewhere else and I don't know anyone here. I reserached this place along with several others in the area on the TN office of early learning. Maybe if you read how the licensing works and the star quality. But you sound like one of those ones that already have you mind made up. To the Momof2, may you find a preschool suitable for you and your 2 children, regardless of what me or anyone say. Only you can decide what is best for your family as I did mine. Still pleased with the preschool.

I had a child go there year ago, I would not recommend it for any reason. I have 4 children and work full time so I have a years of experience with daycare, sitters, etc. Bright Futures is BY FAR one of the worst places ever. Yes, they paint a pretty picture but it is all bull. They charge more than anyone else plus it is mandatory that you provide things like paper towels, etc. Your best bet is to find a sitter that keeps kids in their home. Preferably one that is state certified. Good luck!:)

My son went there for three years. It is the best daycare in this county. He absolutely loved it. The teachers are great. I would recommend this daycare to anyone. There is a waiting list for Bright Futures. My son started Pre K this year and they gave a test and my son is the smartest kid in the class. He knows his alphabet, counts to 120, and learned it from bright futures. So everybody has an opinion but take it from a mama awesome daycare.

my son just turned 4 and attended Bright Futures for 3 years. I do not agree with you at all. He is the smartest kid in his pre k class. They do charge alot but so do the rest. I checked on 5 different daycares and all of them were within ten dollars of each other. Its mandatory you provide diapers and wipes for your kid. As far as anything else its like school. A supply list

All the daycares that I called had a school supply list. All school systems have a school supply list. Would you rather them charge more so that they can purchase these items, or less and you provide these items? And besides, your child is served breakfast lunch and snacks. These are healthy meals and snacks. This daycare is a 3 out of 3 star rating by the Tennessee Dept of Early childhood intervention.
