Good thing they got that off the street, otherwise there would be a bunch of laid back people not doing anything wrong. I think Im going to go get drunk and fight and drive my car to celabrate.

At least some children won't start using Heroine now. Good to get these dealers of death off the streets.

Hooray! Three more people will be occupying space in prison that should be filled by real criminals.

Busting pot growers and potheads is a hell of lot easier than real police work though and hopefully as long as the prisons are full people will think they're being "tough on crime."

Thats funny... Dont know anyone who isnt already a criminal that started out with pot and moved to heroine...

You can go ahead and believe your government and the campaign in the 60s to outlaw pot because of illegegal immigrants... the Governement was upset that the Immigrants werent getting thier money and they havent came up with a way to tax pot yet so its still outlawed... Like some else said... Stoners dont fight and kill people when they drive... drunks do...

It’s a shame this stuff is not legal. Imagine the tax that could be generated. Just with 850 pounds, if you got $100 an ounce and $50 of that is tax, you would make $680,000. in tax revenue. Now times that by 100,000 cities across the U.S. and you get $6.8 billion. Now that’s just a week’s supply, so for a year you would create $353.6 billion in taxes. This is not even counting the other products made from hemp like paper, clothes, rope, and bio diesel fuel (visit www.hempcar.org ) that could be taxed.
This is more that enough money to fund the Iraq war and all of it paid for by potheads. Hmmm…. What a world.

P.s. The misconception that 2/3 of all pot users are teens is very misleading. What it should say is 2/3 of all people arrested for pot are teens. Most adults understand how to be responsible when they smoke.

Who said farmlands are disappearing. They just changed the crops. No money in corn or tobacco so a farmer has to do what a farmer has to do. LOL

Every single time I hear of a drug bust were tons of cocaine, marijuana or some cold hard cash in the millions of dollars has been confiscated, I began to wonder. It must frustrate the hell out of the CIA and the FBI to lose a shipment of narcotics due to local law enforcement who is apparently muscling in on their racket. After all I know that my insatiable greedy government will stop at nothing to make even more unearned dollars, and all at the expense of our sons and daughters too. And that includes the selling and re-distribution of dangerous hallucinogenic drugs like LSD and other well-known evil creations such as heroine, cocaine, and some new illegal narcotics that they don’t have names for it just yet. Illegal oh yes to the poor working class public, but not to an evil satanically controlled government that is hell-bent on not only destroying itself, but us as well. And if that happens then we the people will go down with out a fight. And those timeless words from that great American president will soon come to pass.

"We shall be led like sheep Dumb and Silent to the slaughter.” Yes my dear nonbeliever, you will be handcuffed then led blind and helpless to the chopping block. "Millions will lose in the end"

Sincerely yours I’m as mad as hell, and like all of you powerless to do anything about it.

Once they get the rolling papers they'll put Meth in them as fast as they will pot. Better "nip it in the bud".

The prosecution of drug crimes needs to stop. When are people going to wake up and realize that the war on drugs has nothing to do with whether or not drugs are bad for you. It's all about generating revenue, and you're paying for it.(Where do you think all that nice surveillance equiptment and those fancy helicopters come from?) Personally, I would rather my tax dollars go to fighting violent crime and corruption in politics and corporate practices(the real criminals).
