No they are not the same Crossviile Ceramics has been in business since 1986 and is currently owned by the Curran Family in Illinois. Stonepeak wasn't built until sometime around 2004 or 2005 I think and they are Italian owned. Crossville Ceramics did have 4 Plants but now all have 3. Plant 1 and 2 is off Gensis Road behind Vanity Fair and Plant 4 is across the road from Cracker Barrel (the same location as Stonepeak). Crossville Ceramics use to have a Plant in Dickson, TN but shut it down several years ago.

Let me guess, you are in your mid-20's with that little patch of dirt on your face (what a boy calls a beard), play video games and your friends think you are a stone cold killa'. Just keep having momma change those diapers.

I have worked at Ceramics for many years, but the things going on now are unlike anything I have seen in my 9 years with the company. It's sad people used to really enjoy coming in to work and we had fun and got our jobs done. Sure hope the changes going on improve stuff...

If I were a betting person, I would probably bet that you are the Frank that worked in maintenance that left and went to Perdue. Good thing that you left because I don't think anyone liked you anyway. You liked to kiss the big wigs butts to much. LOL!!!

How does crossville ceramics? I'm currently at stonepeak, and have heard crossville was a better place to
work. What are the hours? What's the starting pay? Any info would be appreciated.

1st shift Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
2nd shift Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm
3rd shift Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am
Weekend shift Saturday and Sunday 5am-5pm only work 24 hrs but get paid for 36.
10 paid holidays I believe.

Not sure on starting out pay.
No drama kind of work place.
Monthly bonuses based on plant profit.
Decent health insurance too.

that Deanna lady that works there only hires her friends with no experience. she hired someone with no experience other than someone with experience that knew all the jobs and she told him he did not have experience then let him go after she hired her friends son who I may add never worked in a factory in his life and has already quit.Wow Deanna keep up the good work.

Thank you for your responses. Do they let you get any overtime? If so how much?

Deanna doesn't do the hiring. She just calls the person in for interview. If you are called in for an interview, you have to go through interviews with 3 different people and if they all agree on hiring that person, than Deanna calls you back and you start filling out the paperwork. That's why her title is HR(Human Resources). Management has the final say-so on who gets hired.
