most taft employees will go there, the only ones it will really hurt is the ones that didnt have anything to do and probably have direct contact with inmates, if your afraid of them they want put you behind the fence, here they do have a Warden thats loves his athority and has body guards, and the Clicks are crazy but you have to be in one .

I worked at the one in Morgan County. They are always hiring. Pay isn't all that great but you get you foot in the door to move on to something with better pay.

Yes, most every place requires a drug test and should! Life is about choices and if you are responsible enough to work and provide for your family/yourself, then you should be responsible enough to not do drugs! Why would any company or individual for that matter want to hire someone whose mind is altered by drugs? I hope you find a job and that you don't have to worry about whether or not you can pass a drug test. You are a better person than that - good luck!

The sad thing is that people can do there drugs and not have to work. Sit home with 5 kids and draw a check and food stamps. That's why most of them don't care if they get a job or not. All of us working people are paying them to stay home and do it. There are jobs out there if you really want one! THEY JUST DON'T WANT ONE!

Prison employees are only there because they failed at life. Much like cops and military personnel.

Do not degrade policemen and active duty military!!! Prison employees have not failed at life. These men and women are trying to WORK in an area that has very few job opportunities. Not everyone has the ways and means to acquire a college education and move away. Honest work is what built this country and people sitting on their ASS is what is tearing it down.

Why does it matter if someone does drugs on their own time, as long as their not high and work and can still get the job done right????

You go work for 8 hrs locked in a prison with inmates an see if you don't change you attitude. Correctional Officers are very had working people an they deserve as much credit as any police officer on the street.

I work at the prison, I would love to see some of you people do my job, work with murderers, rapists, and everything else. And no none if us have failed at life, we have a state job that pays well. Learn some respect for officers. We put our lives at risk to keep convicts off the street and keep you safe

Worked there. The pay is far from being "paid well."

Most of the officers are shining examples of how failure was given a uniform.

"Nutty" you are full of shi$ and proable a lazy druggie that wouldn't have an idea about the pay. And I differ with you most of the officers are very nice and hard working individuals that's trying to make a living. If you don't like it keep your mouth shut at least they work, you proable couldn't make it through the training. If I knew who you were I would whip you lazy sorry [email protected]

Full of it huh? Well first of all, the pay is publicly listed anyway.

Secondly, I can tell you every detail about the job that isn't just publicly out there unless you've worked there.

I watched 300 to 400 lbs slobs given the "okay" to be an officer simply because "they gave it their best" in Tullahoma. Training? That's the funniest thing I've heard yet. Unless you're a complete dumbass, you know damn good and well the "training" is just enough to get you hurt.

Whip my ass? Good luck you state slug. Lol..
