I'm concerned at the begging going on at the ramps. Just today a person begging ran across the ramp to get money, almost got hit by a car. They must collect a lot as they all seem to be able to afford smokes & magic markers for their signs. Visitors getting off at these ramps must think Crossville is full of bums, as that is the first thing they see. Do you give these people money? Let the churches do their job for once and help these folks. Really bad at exit #320.

Yes! Stds, ex-cons, robbers, etc. Seems like the 10,000 churches here aren't converting the sinners very well! Least the churches could do is feed the homeless & give them money for smokes & wine, get them off the ramps. Ever notice they beg with a smoke hanging out of their mouth? They can afford those! Do you give to the ramp beggers????

I see them alot and I do feel sorry for them. I choose to give them a cheese burger or a cup of coffee or sweet tea, instead of money to possibly go and buy a beer with. I try not to judge as to why they are standing there begging. We all go through things in life that bring us to the points and places in life.Maybe my small hand out will be the hand up they need.

i personally know a guy who goes up there and does this sort of thing that lived in my neibourhood .everyone knew he done it and when asked to go help someone his comment was why bother i make more money standing there than go help someone he does it to pay on court fines is what seems funny to me about the whole thing and or buy his cigs .he lives on his girlfriends hud approved housing and sneeks in at night ,what kills me is every employee the housing athority has knows he lives there posing as his girlfriends brother just visiting .so to anyone who gives them money stop and think what your really doing to help out .if his name is roy dont bother helping him . just a little advise .

Well...I live in FFG & find it offensive that this is allowed here at peavine exit. Us gladers don't want to see this trash out here begging. You bleeding heart rednecks rent a bus & take them down to your exits! They should "all" be in jail with a roof over their head and free food.

Show a little compassion for your fellow man oh gladian. We are in a depression altho it hasn't been anounced yet on TV doesn't mean it isn't so.
These people begging at the exits is a sign of the times and it's coming to even your neighborhood soon. When you look at people less fortunate than yourself as trash you only degrade yourself. Consider yourself lucky that these people are only asking now and not taking. How long would you be content to watch your family or well healed self to go hungry?

Why are people that have to beg trash? What would you do if you had no family or friends or money or a house? What if you lost everything? Being from FFG, you wouldn't know how it feels to have nothing. These people have nothing and are just asking for some help. If you lost everything wouldn't you do anything to get what you needed? They don't want to beg, they have to. Imagine how they must feel having to beg people for stuff. Put yourself in their shoes and stop being an asshole. That's why people hate you god damn yankees. You knew where you were moving. I'm sure you didn't just buy a house without seeing it first, so you knew where you were moving. If you didn't like the "rednecks" then you shouldn't have moved here. And if they bother you that much move back to New York, though I'm sure there are people that are in the same situation there, too. It is like that everywhere in America because of the president I'm sure you voted for. If you don't want to see them, find another way around, or just ignore them. Just stop being the typical yankee asshole.

You need to go back where you came from if you don't like the way we "rednecks" are...People like you think you are so much better than regular plain folk?? Why?? Because you have money in the bank & a nice house in FFG? How do you not make yourself sick by your own statment? People have hard times, people lose their homes, people go hungry! Yes, their are those that take advantage of nice people to get a free ride! Thats everywhere-& its not our place to judge anyone!!! I tell my kids, when I do give to someone, that if their really wanting it for food,& have a real need- is between them & God-God says to give to the poor, & if I have it, & feel in my heart to give, then Ive done right in Gods eyes..Sometimes you can tell by looking at them, sometimes you see the the same guy & learn who is def. not homeless & poor ,so there is one I dont give too.But we are no-one! No better than those people asking for food & money, I'd rather sit on the side of the road with them, than to eat @ the same table with whoever you are that thought of your self so highly to call another human being trash!

I don't think living in the Glade intitles you to ownership of Peavine. If you don't like it go back where you came from.

How about all you Damn-yankee transplants take your own buses and make a trail back up north to yankee-town! I'd rather be around a bum that has nothing, than an arrogant ass like you!
