K, you gotta know poor ol' Flo has it soooo rough. Also, he is smarter and faster and better than you - in everything.

Between my wife leaving me and shacking up with a lesbian. And that dang Mayan thing not happening I'm hoping that 2013 I either win my wife back or get killed in a quick painless way. I'm so sick of everything. I'm Catholic so remarriage not possible and dating also not possible. Suicide ain't an option so I'm hoping I get hit by stray bullet or natural disaster.

Is resolving/hoping to die without committing suicide really a good way to live?

Keep your head up Trek and try to look for the good in things. I'm sure your perspective will change for the better in time.

Well do YOU feel that way?

If not I'd rather abandon my religion, then stay with it, over a belief I don't subscribe to (and be lonely).

I feel that marriage was meant to last a lifetime. I don't abandon my faith

I'm not going to drink so much in 2013....so I'm drinking like crazy now so that when I cut back it'll still be enough.

"Faith" will make a fool out of you!

Hey..not insulting, just trying to help.

I don't believe there is any reward in staying stuck in a miserable situation.

The Pope told people in Africa they couldn't use condoms!
The continent most ravaged by AID's and this pointy hat wearing buffoon tells people they can't use condoms???
You want to talk IRRESPONSIBLE control?

Don't let someone that stupid ruin your life.

You know there's something wrong with your life...you know it!
You're either too lazy to do anything about it or you don't know what to do.

You're clinging to a belief that has you doing exactly what it wants....CLINGING!!!

Does my wife live close? Do you live close? Yes you do. Do you have to move to southern Illinois so we can heal? If you feel you have to move then go ahead. Troi is my wife who left me just before thanksgiving.

Idiotic. If your faith does not enhance your life, abandon it.

That's honorable.
I totally agree that marriage was meant to last a lifetime. My first husband, however didn't see it that way. After a year of ignoring the inconvenient fact that he was sleeping around we divorced.(He took a job at a factory and shortly later started being a man whore)
Is it really your faith that if your wife runs off to be a lesbian that you should be punished by living alone the rest of your life alone?
Think about it, which is worse, falling from catholic grace or living a miserable life because the person you trusted to enter into matrimony with went gay?
I don't know you but I have to urge you to do yourself a favor and decide what YOU want out of your life, not what the pope thinks you want out of your life.(Or your priest, or parents, or siblings or peers for that matter)
BTW I'm a Christian myself, God fearing. I love God and seek his will for my life. I'm not trying to get you to do anything negative spiritually, rather to have an open mind. You seem like a young guy, too young to go the rest of your life alone. I've been remarried and God has blessed me, so it can't be all bad :)

Enjoy your misery...

No wonder wiffie turned lesbo...I see no MANLY GUTS coming from you!

The religious oppression under your roof was so bad that your wife turned to the first REAL PERSON she found!

You plastic wind up toys of the church are so pathetic!

I was not a good husband I cheated on her abuser her and was totally selfish. I'm 34 and my abandoning my faith to get the ability to enjoy life and remarry is not worth the affect on my soul.
