Second shift has all their supervisors. The only ad in paper I see is for a P.O. Box number.

I have worked there for many years and i have seen the place go down hill. Safety is a joke, i get bullied alot and cant say anything cause the supervisors dont care they would rather fire me than fix the problem, the favortism is out of control, they dont care if u have a family that gets sick i was told to find a place to leave my child so i can still work while she was sick, i cant go to my boss about anything. I would quit but like it was said in an earlier post they are the highest paying job in the area. i hate colinx so bad some days i feel sick just pulling in the parking lot. But i am just a nobody that works there they dont care about the employees. When i first started there it was a good place to work but not anymore. Im ashamed to tell anyone i work there. I will eventually find another job but till then i keep my eyes ears and mouth shut and just try to survive.

And its only going to get worse. Safty is a joke your right. It's cause for some reason they lower the standards to get hired on. Some of the people that's been hired hear lately should have never been temps let alone been hire full time. I guess colinx needs to change the name to kolbat chase all its doing is making a bunch of tools

I've heard that the place has changed a lot since I left. I still have some good friends that work there and I can tell what the change has done to the place. You guys are right about the supervisors though, they will act like your friend and tell you what you want to hear and then twist a knife in your back. I am sorry for those of you who feel trapped there, the only way to make that kind of money is go go to a big city like Knox or Chatt. And it's just as bad there too. I really feel bad for American workers in general, most companies don't take any pride in doing right for their employees anymore. I really can't stand someone who will kiss butt to get somewhere and then tell people who have real problems at work that they should be thankful they have a job and deal with it.
And for the person who says they are bullied at work, if you are being serious and this isn't just a poor, pathetic me thing, get a lawyer. Bullying has really taken a turn these days and the law is serious about it. Don't be someone's punching bag just because you feel you have no other option. Good luck to you all.

Found out today that a supervisor told all his *trainees* quote: "I may sound like an ass, but I don't care about the trainees...I need to make sure that my full-time are taken care of". This was in response to the employees asking about the work schedule on Christmas Eve. As most know, most full-time employees have off both Christmas Eve and Day. However, Mr. Supervisor plans to allow them to work the 3rd shift on Sunday night (23rd). So, this *schedule* is practically unnecessary for full-time employees, but would be a real boon to all the temps/trainees who do NOT receive holiday pay in ANY form (some employment/temp agencies DO pay, but not all). When announcing this to the employees, Mr. Supervisor failed to mention that this was for full-time employees only, allowing the trainees to get their hopes up for a Christmas Eve holiday without fear of losing money for the week. When he saw that the trainees/temps were commenting on the schedule, Mr. Supervisor then made the above asinine comment, degrading trainees/temps to a sub-standard status.
The real shame of this incident is not just the attitude of Mr. Supervisor to his trainees/temps. It's his apparent ignorance regarding their importance. The majority of the work force within his department consists of over 80% trainees/temps. Without them, he has no job. Without the trainees/temps, his department would not exist. Most factories employ the same way as Colinx, using trainees/temps as their main workforce. There are several that have been "trainees* for over 8 months, some for 2 years. I won't get started on the criminality of this process. It's akin to being a teacher/professor for years and never receiving tenure. I remember when temp agencies (employment agencies, now) were just that: Agencies that introduced workers into the workplace so that the companies could evaluate the workers over a probationary period then let them make the decision of whether to hire them full-time. This process was usually three months (90 days), and allowed the temps to work toward a good, secure job with benefits.
Anyway, I've gotten off-topic. The point of this topic was to bring to light the poor attitude and public disregard that Mr. Supervisor (in this case) has toward his employees. This attitude of his is unacceptable, and his blatant favoritism/prejudice toward full-time vs temporary employees is resentful. In the very least Mr. Supervisor should apologize to his employees. In a position of authority, he should never be allowed to show disregard for employees in this manner, whether they are trainees or full-time. I'm hoping that he will see his error of judgement, and apologize. If not, then I may be forced to submit an official letter to the Corporate Office, as well as the Branch Office. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy/Safe New Year. Take care.

colinx is a joke. In 40+ years of working myself to death, I never had to worry about not getting paid for work performed until I went to work at colinx. I worked right at 66 hours my last two weeks and did not get one cent for for any of those hours. anybody reading this and still working at colinx needs to be told this. They stole my money just as if they robbed me on the street. Colinx should be ashamed of themselves. They surely don't care about their employees if they they steal from them. I've never had anything bad to say about any employer until now. God, forgive them.
