I didn't vote for the sleeze. I do respect the office but not the person. I'm sure this is being sent to the White House as we speak.

But don't you also believe "prayer" is supposed to make everything better too?

What do you want him to do, FORCE companies to come back to America?
How would he do that?
Tariffs?
Then you'd be beeoocthing about the prices you pay for imported goods.

What do you want him to do that you think he CAN do but isn't?

If you can answer those questions then maybe we can have a decent discussion, but if you fail to acknowledge what I said, then I think we can all rest assured that you're merely an angry Republican racist spamming on Topix.

I SEE YOUR QUOTATIONS AROUND PRAYER,..I THINK THAT IS WHAT WE ARE MISSING IN THE WORLD!..IF YOUR WRIGHT WE JUST DIE AND THATS IT..FOR NOTHING..NO REASON AT ALL...IF IM WRIGHT THAN ITS ALL FOR A GREAT NEVER ENDING REASON..SO ARE YOU GOING TO GAMBLE THAT?...NOT A GOOD IDEA!

Dogs..deer & fish exist and die for no apparent reason either.

Are you masking arrogance with humility?
What am I risking in my failure to be manipulated by man made fantasies?

If there is a God and he decides to show himself, I'd be more likely to recognize it and accept it than most Christians would.

And about this whole concept of prayer...
Why ask for anything?
Haven't you ever heard a woman say.."I shouldn't have to tell you?"

Of course women think men should able to read their minds, but of course we're just men, but shouldn't God have that power?

Well...what would you call it?

Its certainly not a CONVERSATION.
Seriously...do I have to act like a subservient, sorry, pitiful creature to an unseen galactic spirit who cruises the galaxies bestowing good and bad upon creatures depending on their religions?

How arrogant do you have to be to believe that your little speck upon another little speck...upon ANOTHER little speck, draws such attention that your prayers should be listened to and answered?

I feel the same way about air. When air shows itself, I'll believe in it.

Electricity, too. Can't see them electrons, and when they show themselves, I'm all in.

And I refuse the believe in that ole gravity bullshit. What a crock. If you throw something up, is comes down. Where the hell else is it gonna go? Show yourself, gravity. NOW!

If I can't see it, I don't believe in it. That's the smart way of doing things.

Air can be measured in psi (14.7 @ sea lvl).
Electricity can be measured by amperage
Gravity can be measured and seen in a vacuum.

I have yet to see proof of your god, hence being agnostic. Not acknowledging nor disavowing.

I like the way you take a solid stand there, Geno.

Agnostic is atheism for people who can't, won't, or are too afraid to make up their minds.

The problem with analogies you used is that none of them are INTELLIGENT...none of them are a living being.
You have to admit, that is a glaring difference.
You're attempt at making a reasonable correlation between wind and God was elementary at best.

Allow me to use an example...
Suppose you were raised as a child by parents who NEVER spoke to you.
Oh they fed you and put a roof over your head, but they never spoke to you or played with you or taught you anything...you were just there.

I do believe even Social Services would be looking to remove you from that kind of environment.

Yep...that's pretty much the "God Concept."
