Everyone in the Home Instead office are wonderful. What I can guess is this person that says these bad things is probably someone that either got fired for not doing their job or calling out all the time, or doesnt even work there and is jealous of someone having a job when they dont. "sarah" is prolly a horrible caregiver that called out every week in the past and wasnt given any hours and was let go for lack of job performance. so sad for ya "sarah" waaaaaaaaa waaaaaa waaaaaaaa
Get over it chic!

this place is a joke. they let caregivers who fail drug tests back on the payroll so they don't lose clients. maybe tenncare should find out about it.....hmmmmm...

There are some senior care people that have been coming around my neighborhood. Do you know anything about http://comforcare.com/illinois/park-ridge ? I want to make sure that they are legit and good before I use there service.

Worked for home instead for about 2 months. I quit because I no longer wanted to be associated with them. They don't care about their caregivers let alone the elderly people they care for. When I first started I took over another girls client. She was not only stealing from him, but she was also not caring for him. I got more done in the 2 months I was caring for him. Then she did the whole year she worked with him. And what did the office do? Absolutely nothing! They switched her to a different client. I was disgusted and completely embarrassed to work for them. Felt awful leaving my clients behind :( the last straw was them sending me out to care for someone I had never met. Gave me no details as to where I was going. When I showed up it was a really dirty trailer. I'm not the judgmental type. But there was cat urine and feces All over the floor. Cockroaches in the sink the lady had lice I mean it was bad. So obviously home instead wasn't checking in with this ladies regular caregiver. One of the worst companies I have worked for. They are all there for a paycheck and they make it obvious.

Office staff there is terrible! You can bring concerns to them and they will act like they will do something about it but never do. Then they talk about you behind your back like teenagers. That one with the fake boobs and messed up teeth is the worst. She acts like she's gonna fix the situation and call you after hours to discuss it and then it's all lies.

I worked there a few years ago, I was working a home where the step father was abusing a child...I reported it to my boss..... She said there's nothing we can do ..so I left it at that ....a couple days later she called me and said that CPS got called and ask if I did I said no, and she said well it sure looks like the blame is on you since you reported it to us ....they let me go because of this....crazzzyyy I work there for 3 yrs only problem I had was they accused me of something I didn't do and from the trainingI took as caregivers we are suppose to report abuse

This sure makes for some scary reading! I work in a service industry in FFG and have recommended this company in the past. I think I won't be doing this anymore. I find it deplorable that someone reported filthy living conditions and was basically told ... oh well! And ABUSE not being reported by the company head is inexcusable! Shame on them! Definitely be looking for somewhere else to refer the elderly to!
