Just reading all of this on this thread. It has always amazed me that the poorest of people smoke cigarettes, drink tons of beer at bars,do drugs, have pets. These same people also can't buy food, pay their bills, etc.

You make your choices and then wonder why you don't make enough money. Cigarettes alone will cost you at least $150 a month if you smoke a pack a day,and most smoke more than that.

I would suggest stepping back and evaluating your situation and thinking about what the problem might be. Why come on a public forum and complain about your life situation? Only you have the power to change it,and apparently you should.

Tipping is not mandatory. It is a gratuity for service rendered. Each and every server that waits on me begins the interaction with a preliminary 25% tip. It is up to THEM to decide if this monetary amount increases or decreases. This decision is based solely on the quality of their service and/or the size of her tits.
Waitresses of the world, either EARN your money or move into a smaller apartment. Don't expect to be paid well for just showing up. Excell in your chosen endevour.
This says it all. End o' story.

You are 100% correct. They are keeping THEMSELVES poor by making every wrong decision that comes their way. It is called social Dawinism. The cream will always rise to the top. The coffee grounds just huddle at the bottom and complain.

It COULD be. As long as the person is happy working there and strives to do the best they can. These are the people who get promoted to management and upper management. It is not the job you do, it is how WELL you do the job you do.

A good waitress doesn't have to worry about her tips, and a bad one needs to find another line of work.

You could own your own manure shovelling company. Or invent a new manure shovel. Or you could just shovel it for somebody else (who had more drive than you) for the rest of your life for $6 an hour. Sounds like you have already made up your mind.

If I ever need my poop moved from one place to another I will give you a call.

Working at Hardees is not the problem. STAYING at Hardees in a low income position when you have the ability to get out of there IS.

The same reason you do not understand my point is the same reason you will assemble hamburgers for the rest of your life.

Enjoy.

My first job was making hamburgers at $1.50 per hour and I finally got up to $125,000 per year and it only took 40 years. You can do it if you try. I was poor white trash too, but I had dream ........

There are a lot of people out there working customer service who don't have a clue. If you don't like your self, your life, or interacting with customers, please find another job. A good waitress rarely averages under 10.00 an hour.
I hate going somewhere and being brought down by the whining or surly looks from unhappy employees. Some people just don't tip, I treat those the same as my biggest tippers, those people help keep the doors open so I have a place to make good tips.
My mother waitressed in places where there was no wages and the house got a cut of your tips.

my wife had to work as waitess at one time cause no other job out there at the time she always complained about the people with money left the smaller tips the younger ones that dressed like they had no money left her good tips and church goers was the worce. so maybe us white trash r that way cause we think of other people and give money away were as the rest r to stingy to get rid of it.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Sagittarius

Once again, the domestic atmosphere isn't exactly peaceful. Someone is still all worked up, and you may have come out in sympathy by now. Try to discuss things with as much objectivity as you can muster, otherwise, with Mars now retro, the conversation will soon disintegrate into a bad-tempered spat or a slanging match in which you try to catch one another out. It's important to clear the air.
