RIP Tuck. You were loved by people from every class, blue collar, white collar. You will be missed. You were a kind, loving man to everyone you encountered. We will miss your smile and laughter.

Tuck, you left so fast....we don't want to say goodbye, so selfishly, we will keep you with us in our hearts.

WHoopah! WHoopah!
"potato, potato, potato"
He speeds up, slows down
speeds up, slows down,
keeps crackin’ that throttle
like there’s no tommorrow
shovelhead runnin’ true
on a road he calls “therapy”
screamin’ from the bottom
of his black leather boots
“Look Ma! No hands”!
He's done that all his life,
rolling thunder in the palm
of his hand only lettin’ up
to gun that old motor again.
Prides himself on being able to start a bike,
walk away,
set the timing just right,
let it sit there idling,
"potato, potato, potato,"
he’s just gotta twist that grip,
doesn’t matter he’s had that bike out
all night long; hot or cold
when he pushes that button
straight pipes gonna rattle
Whoopah!, Whoopah!
"potato, potato, potato"
over and over till he walks away,
the bike dies, then a few minutes
later he’s at it again,
goofy smile on his face,
silver handlebars gleam
as the sun comes up.
It's a wonder he don't wake the dead!

Jeffery Andrews, 42, and Michael Miles, 35, are charged in connection with a shooting into The Pondo Café and Lounge on Jefferson Avenue near Briarfield Road. Charges against Andrews, of Norfolk, include malicious shooting into a building, conspiracy malicious wounding and reckless handling of a firearm. Miles, of Hampton, is charged with conspiracy shooting into an occupied building, unlawfully shooting into a building and reckless handling of a firearm

A police officer heard three gunshots at 1:18 a.m. on Nov. 21 near Briarfield Road. The officer followed the sound of the gunshots and was waved down by two people in the parking lot of the lounge, which had a bullet hole in its glass door, according to the criminal complaint.

According to witnesses, two men had assaulted the owner of the restaurant earlier in the night. The men were described as leaving inside a white truck, according to an affidavit for search warrant filed in Newport News Circuit Court.

Police later stopped a white truck that matched the description and found a handgun and "several spent casings, as well as a box of Remington Golden Saber" rounds, according to the criminal complaint. Golden Saber casings were also found at the lounge.

Both men — who are linked to a local motorcycle club — fit the description of the restaurant assailants, according to court documents.

Andrews and Miles were wearing clothing that identified them with the Renegades Motorcycle Club, according to the affidavit for search warrant filed in Newport News Circuit Court. Andrews told the officer he was the Newport News chapter president of the Renegades, according to the affidavit.

"I have learned that the motorcycle clubs historically control territories or areas like Newport News with violence, threats, and intimidation to gain respect," according to the affidavit. "These territories or areas are generally where the motorcycle clubs would conduct their criminal activity."

Can someone please tell me what happened? I moved away from crossville years ago, but Tuck was at one time a great friend of mine, lots of great memories. It's curiosity that has me asking what happened to my friend, and I no longer have any connections in Crossville that I might ask.

It was very unexpected. The doctor said he believed the cause to be untreated sleep apnea, he just stopped breathing in his sleep :-( thank you much for the kind words

Never fear friend, our local chapter is a joke. They are no more bad asses than Roseanne Barr is a sex symbol.

I am sad to hear that Tuck is gone. I met him in Crossville in 1983 and then went to Dayton/Springfield for a few months and hung with the club. I have been back in Tn for a few years and always had in my mind to look him up as I knew he was back in TN from Ohio. Sorry I never looked you up my friend. R.I.P. RFFR
