I remember being in high school and cringing if I saw him darken the doors of the lunchroom if it was anywhere close to my birthday. Do you remember his toothlessness and his trumpet?

I thought for sure I would go my entire life without hearing that phrase.

Frightening.

And I don't even know who you're talking about.

I'm sure if I peed on myself in a bar I would never forget it either.

Deroy is still alive, he's in bad health, has to use a motorized wheelchair or walker to get around.

I think it's time for the scariest comeback in clown history.

I saw him just last week and I can remember him coming to our elementary school back in the day. He has gotten a little more feeble in his old age but he's still quite jovial. Great guy in my opinion.

He brought a lot of cheer to a lot of children! Unique and something no one will ever forget. I used to think it was great when he would walk in the lunch room and make balloon animals. He used to work at the mill in town. I remember seeing him in plain clothes and asking my mom why he was dressed that way! LOL

All he ever seemed to bring to CCHS was sheer TERROR.

He probably qualified for a scooter back in the day because he had a bad case of the "obesis." ( That is what my nanny calls obesity.)

DeRoy is a nice old man, never hurt anyone, and only tried to bring happiness, smiles and laughter to everyone young and old, he's in bad health, but I wish him the best.
As for you people that gets they're kicks out of putting him down, it just shows how pathic and cowardly you really are.

I'm not sure anyone's actually putting him down. Clowns affect people in many different ways. I think it says a lot about the guy that everyone remembers him so vividly.
