There are always a few here and there who abuse their power. The majority of law enforcement are good, law abiding citizens. They are just as unhappy about the bad eggs as what the average citizen is.

What about an obvious family man and law abiding citizen who got arrested for taking a photo of a cop on a public highway? That story was in a link on the other thread about cops pulling people over. You sarcastically mocked that thread with your "black helicopter" comment?

Now it's those pill poppers that cause the cops to act they way they do. Yet, that family man in the link on the other thread was obviously not a pill popper.

Got a question for you. Are you a cop? If not, what drives your mocking defense of a cop arresting a law abiding citizen and family man for taking a photo of a cop on a public highway. Based on what that cop did to those two children's Dad right in front of them, I doubt those kids will ever trust the police as they grow up. And then cops wonder why no one has respect for what they do for a living.

I was raised to respect the police. Unfortunately, I tell my kids that some police are very good or they can be bad... and that people have to be careful because some cops you can trust and some you can't. It should not be that way. The only way we are going to get back to trusting them is when cops get rid of that Code of Silence practice where they will not report on their fellow officers when they abuse their power, lie, or break the law.

The Code of Silence is ruining honor in law enforcement and ruining our trust in LE. We need honest LE and honest LE need to report the corrupt ones to their supervisors or anonymously (if needed) to whoever it is that can make changes for the better. But the citizenry is not making this up. A lot of cops in Tennessee and Sheriff Departments are out-of-line and operate illegally under the law and our U.S. Constitution, and there are TN laws on the books that allow them to do this. "Policing for Profit" is an example of such activity. Channel 5 News in Nashville has been reporting on that for a over a year now. Google it and learn about what the people are reading and hearing in the news about abuse of power and cop behavior that resembles that of a police state resulting in ripping law abiding citizens off! Do you think Chris Williams with Channel 5 News should be mocked as you seem to like to do to those who point out abuses by the police on topix.com . These news stories do have truth and credibility, and regardless of your "one liners" intended to mock the truth, people are learning about what is going on in their local LE Departments.

It amazes me how cops will abuse their power and break the law and then get upset because someone identifies their corrupt behavior. How do you identify a corrupt cop? They will mock the messenger and attempt to discredit them.

Sincerely,

Well said!

Also corrupt cops should leave law abiding citizens alone. Even the ones that are documenting and reporting their corruption. How else are we to keep corrupt LE from abusing their power. But when they use their power to intimidate law abiding citizens that are trying to hold the accountable, this is where the good and honorable cops should draw they line. Do not let your fellow officers abuse their power and harm law abiding citizens because they document or complain about corruption. When this happens, then we are living in a police state!

Taking a PHOTO of an officer on a highway? Anyone who would do such a thing knows he could get in trouble for it. What did he expect the poor man to do, oink or say cheese?

It IS NOT against the law to take a photo of an officer on a public highway. Obviously you did not listen to the News Video where the reported explained why it was not against the law. The only wrongdoing here was what the officer did in arresting the man for this reason. The officer should be fired and he is a disgrace to his fellow officers. If I were his boss, I would be keeping an eye on him and I would instruct my other officers to report any suspicious behavior or abuse of power by that officer. That is what his boss would have done if his boss is honest and upright. Wonder if that officer was ever disciplined that that wrongful arrest and abuse of power? I wonder what ever happened to the law abiding family man that was arrested. Maybe the News Reporter will do a follow-up story on that.

To answer you question about the officer saying "oink" or "cheese", I vote for "Oink" since that would have accurately depicted him for what he is. But not without audio, and I don't think photos have audio. So your question, intended to mock, was not well thought out. Try again.

Sincerely,

And you have one in your brain. Can't you think of anything more useful to say than that?

And what's with the question mark? Was your statement intended to be a question? If so, then the answer is "no". The only thing in my ass is the same thing that's in yours. The only difference is that mine IS NOT bull shit.... or pig shit!

For someone who attacks bullying, you sure like to do it yourself. Is everything a conspiracy to you? Everyone a cop that calls you out?

Try leaving and go burying your nasty head in sand. Probably won't work, but it's a good start.

I'm sorry. I like to hump pigs. That is why I get the smell. Hence the term "pig fu**ker." The semen is all over me. I like to bathe in it.

I like pig pee pee too much. It's uncommon that I have this obsession. Usually humans don't like the pig in heat, but I do. Nothing makes me happier when I get a load of pig juice in my face. Those in Mexico do the donkey stuff, but I like the pigs.
