First of all, this is a complete tragedy that you're using to boast whatever argument you think you have. For that, it makes you a pathetic and pitiful human being.

If someone is this crazy to kill people, it doesn't matter how they are going to do it, they are still going to do it. To think if we had more gun laws, it would have somehow detered this action, would be completely naive.

You are a disgusting individual.

Police are not duty-bound to protect anyone whatsoever. That nips that "argument" fairly quick.

Further, I never said that arming a bunch of people would deter crime, in fact I said that creating tougher gun laws acts as no means of deterring the crazies who wish to invoke such an act. You've simply created a fallacy. Stay on track.

On a side note, Connecticut has some of the tougher gun laws compared to the rest of the nation.

The question is a dumb question because you're not allowed to carry guns onto school property, so there would be nobody to help, or save, or shoot back if they were a legal gun owner.

Stating how Connecticut has "tougher gun laws" is a truly hollow arguement!

That's one of the great (or FK'ed up) things about 50 different states with tens of thousands of different laws...

There is ALWAYS a way to circumvent the laws of your state simply by taking a short drive.

Don't you have any arguements that aren't FLUFF?

You just proved my point.

There are always to circumvent the laws, thus meaning that if someone wanted to commit such a horrible act, they are going to do it no matter what, regardless if there are tougher gun laws.

Didn't say anything about guns needing to be in schools dumbazz. There shouldn't be guns in school. You are the one who originally posted asking where the NRA heroes were when this happened. The question is dumb because even people with legal gun permits are not supposed to carry guns in school, so there would be no one there to be a "NRA hero"

Actually if I had things my way, there would be no "states rights".

Whether its firecrackers, lotto tickets or alcohol...attempts at having any control simply results in "black markets".

If not a gun, then a bomb, if not a bomb then poison.
Criminals/crazies break LAWS.
All the LAWS in the world will not prevent them from breaking them.
This argument (weapons suppression) is mute since it will not stop ANYTHING!!!

Look at drugs.. it doesn't stop those??? How are guns different?? Murder is murder no matter how ya color it.
