Can someone explain to me how a corporation has a faith or a religion or even can get saved? Corporations are not people, people. Jeeze!

FK Hobby Lobby!!!!

What these self righteous zealots are doing is trying to use "religious freedom" as an excuse to manipulate others by attacking their freedom!

Religious nuts again and again see only themselves as those being offended, but never do they see themselves as offending anyone else!

I want to see the next mass shooting in a church!

Bill Maher makes the best damn points about contraception that I've ever heard, especially regarding stem cell research.

Bill says.."You know how I know that stems aren't a baby?...its because you can FREEZE THEM and thaw them back out."

"If people could do that with their baby, THEY WOULD!"

"Oh yeah..lets take that vacation to Hawaii."
"The baby???"....just freeze him and we'll thaw it out when we get back."

How are religious people soooo FRIGGIN' STOOOPID!!???

If Hobby Lobby really HAD BALLS they'd refuse the business of pagans, but noooooo....Hobby Lobby LOVES PAGAN MONEY and would never refuse it to stand by their convictions.

No!!!...Hobby Lobby wants to LAWYER their way towards controling the personal lives of their employees.

Thank an insurance company for watering this slippery slope for years and making it ever more so a possibility.

If a corporation is a person, can I get it drunk and then frak it in the butt? Walmart keeps teasing me and looking at me like it wants it.

Who is Timmie? And isn't a tree with no branches just another word for my phallus?

Ok, this one I do not understand:Why should I have to subsidize the cost of someone else's birth control? I don't mind being in a pool of like buying units and making a monetary payment to that pool in order to spread out the risk of paying for an injury or disease treatment. So how do I go from this, to paying for some chicks birth control pills. Also, I think it is religious bigotry for the government to force a company to pay for contraception coverage.(as a side bar, I have no personal feelings against contraception) For all the talk of religions being bigoted in their views, well that can be a two way street.

What would you like me to refute? Churches are, mostly, deemed to be tax exempt organizations - nothing to refute.

It would seem to me that forcing a church to sponsor contraception coverage, when said coverage is against their teachings/beliefs, would be akin to forcing Jewish people to eat pork. A religion has the right to be limiting in the beliefs they sanction, otherwise it is just a group of hedonists. As for controlling lives, well don't belong or work for that group if you do not like their practices. Isn't that what you have done?

Once again...leave it to a Tennessee hillbilly to NEVER...EVER...make a proper comparison.

You people seem to think that apples ARE oranges, don't you?

Didn't Jesus say "pay Ceasar's things to Ceasar, but God's things to God?"

Couldn't Hobby Lobby make a case that paying ANY TAXES that go towards things it doesn't condone shouldn't have to be paid?

No Hobby Lobby could not forgo paying taxes as that is rendering unto Caesar that which is Caesars. On the other hand being forced to provide contraception is in direct violation of their belief and scriptural precepts. This is where the comparison to forcing Jews to eat pork is relevant. Let's try another one, compelling a Protestant pastor to perform a same sex marriage. Here again, this act would be in direct conflict with the teachings of many Protestant congregations. One more, the government forcing Protestant, Catholic and Orthodox congregations to ordain a certain percentage of female pastor/priests when such an action may be forbidden by a congregation. So you see the original comparison was dead on. It is purely your argumentative nature that does not allow you to see that. Possibly, you will e a nicer person at some point in the future. For know, suffice it to say that Tim owns you.

Oh wait Bucknut...what about these pastors who refuse to perform marriages between (for lack of a better term) "interracial couples" like I myself was involved in?

If a certain church won't do it, who is the azzhole then?...God?
You think God approves of racist variances among different churches?

The FACT is...the government could take the churches damn money any number of ways.
Where is the Christian outcry when its spent on Holy Wars?

Well you obviously haven't had experience with labor unions like I have.

When you are FORCED to be a member and pay dues, that's a labor union.

Don't tell me church members don't pay dues...we both know they do.

You can call it an "argumentative nature"....but its really a LOGIC that you can't make a rational argument against.
