How would you like the message to be made public? Since you don't like signs.

I think those signs (on cheap osb board) are at least saving some money... in this economy any funds that they can save on advertising can be put back into something more usefull for the community. I don't know if there's anything behind that, but it seems strategic to me. Not saying that i'll vote either way....just a simple comment.

Those signs are a disgrace. They look awful. That guy has absolutely no chance to get elected. How are they even legal? Nobody I've talked to even knows who the guy is. I just hope that they are removed after he gets demolished in the election. I definitely don't think he is making a political statement by using "cheap USB board". They cost a lot more than a regular political sign which are 2-3$ each

Didnt say I didnt like signs. Said those HUGE signs were annoying. Also, any advertising comes out of their personal finances. Those huge cheap signs really dont make me comfortable having them handle any kind of money that may have to come out of my pocket in the long run. Another way to make the message made public? Radio, newspaper, door to door canvassing, ect.

The guy behind the signs is a retired Marine Officer he retired from the military but did not stop working. He is well educated and knows how to handle money he is running for office because he is tired of all the wastefull spending by the ones in office now. You should be worried about how the ones in office now are handleing your tax dollars. Take for example all the money spent on the airport for improvements in the last few years how many of the people in crossville benefitted from that only the wealthy. The people in office now are some of the wealthiest people in crossville they only care about their friends who are also wealthy. As long as they control what happens here in Crossville the wealthy will get richer and everyone else will stay where they are. We need someone in office that will think of what is better for Crossville not what will help my friends and family. Vote Sousa he cares about the people.

You want things to change you have to make it happen just wishing for it wont work vote them out and if you dont like the results vote them out. If you dont vote you are saying you like things the way they are.

Just what we need, someone not from here. Give me a break. Improvements to the airport were needed. It wasn't to "benefit the wealthy"

I cant say they were not needed but from what i understand the property they bought for the expansion was appraised at about 250,000 but they paid somewere around 600,000 for it. that is what the good old boy system is doing with your money. I also think the money could have been better spent in a bad economy. I would also like you to explain to the rest of us just what the local airport does for the majority of the resedents here. Also Sousa has lived here for over 30 years he may not be from here originally but he loves crossville and it's resedents no matter where they are from.

People who benefited from the airport? JUST THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE JOBS! Several local businesses that employ a lot of YOUR NEIGHBORS will end up leaving if Souza gets his way and shuts down the airport! Very few people even fly for fun anymore. IT IS BUSINESS FOLKS! BUSINESSES USE THE AIRPORT!

All you right wing nutz supporters crack me up so much! You want to vote in the republicons but then you turn around and hate the rich people who ARE THE REPUBLICONS! INSANE!

No one said anything about shutting down the airport that wont happen. I just think the money spent could have been more benificial to a larger group of people used elsewere. I dont hate rich people i am just smart enough to know if anything is going to change you have to do something different. Our children deserve better get someone in office that thinks outside the good old boy box.

I was told Mr. Souza wanted to close the airport. Based on some of his signs that wouldn't really surprise me. I do NOT want the city to be like the county! NOT AT ALL!

And what about that big fancy new health department the county is building? You all OK with that big spending when you want to nickle and dime the city to death and they are the only ones doing ANYTHING to help us?
