Gamestop won't last. Most of that stuff is already for sale here. Only difference is they'll do used games, and probably have some different gaming accessories.
If you think gamestop wont last, you're an idiot

I bet you probably said the same thing about Sam Goodies, Blockbuster, book stores, etc.

I've already bought game systems and games here in town for years without a Gamestop. Some from online. The only thing new they'd have to offer is buying and selling used games. Though, I download alot of games anyways.

Gamestop's business model overall will fail in time just like Blockbuster ala DVD rental stores, CD stores, book stores, etc.

Never liked movie rental places, I like gamestop. It's not the same category. Blockbuster isnt just a place for gamers, gamestop is. I don't know how many Times I went looking for a new game at blockbuster because every other place was out and they wouldn't even have it for rent. Gamestop has every game and accessory that a gamer would need. It's not even comparable to blockbuster, they are not in the same category

Meth heads love playing games on stolen Play Stations. Brilliant business decision, GameStop.

That landlord better hope Gamestop lasts there. As Blockbuster had been there for years. And it would be funny if Gamestop didn't last, or ended up moving to a different location. Then that landlord would be stuck with an empty building trying to find a new tenant when he already had Blockbuster there as a steady tenant.

It appears that the rumors of Gamestop coming are true, or at least the plans are in the works.

This appears to be architectural information about the renovation of the old blockbuster location.

I for one, do NOT like Blockbuster, they sucked. Redbox or Foof City for that matter is much better on rentals. Glad to see them go, now get that Gamstop in here, so we don't have to drive to Cookeville all the time for the kids!!

Its about time you all in Crossville are getting a gamestop, its been a long time coming. Blockbuster is starting to die compared to redbox, netflix and hulu plus. I'm sure you remember the death of Hollywood Video? Blockbuster is not far off.

Gamestop is dieing as well. The only thing keeping them going is used games. Though used games is really the only advantage Gamestop has over the current video game retailers we already have.

I think you need to bare in mind as well that Gamestop also has some great promo sales and fantastic Pre-Order specials as well.
