Raccoons are fascinated with shiny objects and will want to bring it back to their den. They’ll reach into the can with an empty paw to grab it, but won’t be able to pull their paw out because the flaps won’t allow it and will dig into their hide. Their paw is just too big, while holding the shiny quarter, to be pulled out of the can. So now you’ve got a raccoon stuck to a can because no matter what, they will not give up their “treasure”. Even when those dogs are bailing and barking and running towards it. It might try to scramble away, but it’s reluctance and adamant refusal to give up what they found in the can is always their demise.

The CrossLake mansion has a huge safe in it. Denny Hecker testified that he had $17,000 in it before he filed for bankruptcy. Seaver found $500 in undisclosed travelers checques in the after the bankruptcy.

Hecker has to have a large amount of cash at his disposal. He's paying rent and utilities for 3 mansions, sending his kids (and Rowan's kids) to Breck, bought 2 Landrovers and an Escalade and a Segway, and spent $30,000/month on a girlfriend. He has no job and has stated his friends will no longer loan him any money. The Feds have a record of him wiring $500,000 from his business account to his personal account. His employees witnessed seeing at least $500,000 in cash in his office safe. The cops found $100,000 cash in his vehicle when he crashed it. Ralph Thomas loaned him $150,000 and he's wired over $200,000 to Christi Rowan. He had $4,000 in cash in his wallet when he went to jail.

The cash has to be close to him because he's on home arrest and has a nightly curfew. When it became clear that the judge was going to force him to allow Seaver into his home he had to move it. He couldn't move it to Scottsdale because it would have to go to an airport. So he must have moved it to Crosslake.

By the time Seaver gets access to CrossLake, the money will be back at Northridge again. Then he'll use that money to buy back his stuff at CrossLake.

I do not believe that you people can not get what "well wrote" is doing. It is called satire and in making their analogy to the racoon and its inability to release the shiny things well wrote is lampooning dear Denny and his compatriots. I found it very amusing.

Vacation Home

[Hecker's criminal defense attorney, Brian Toder, said "this matter will be resolved this week," and "there's someone willing to help Denny out" to pay the money for Hecker to keep everything.]
Why would anyone be willing to pay money so Hecker could keep the stuff at his vacation home? Yeah, maybe if you are a very good friend of his you would be willing to donate a little so his kids don't have to sleep on the floor where he's living at, but his vacation home also? A place where he won't even be able to visit until after his trial in October (if he gets away without jailtime, which is unlikely given the evidence.) Ridiculous.

Why is a public defender involved in a personal deal for Hecker to keep personal property???

Toder should focus on the the criminal charges not the BK.

We the taxpayer need PROTEST Toder's involvement in the BK.

All the employees Hecker did not pay.

Loss of insurance, and Hecker is driving around in a Escalade, Landrover's, Big F250 Truck Black.

This is absolute bull!! Citizens we must unite and stop this insanity.

People are willing to keep lending him money to keep living the lifestyle he's grown accustomed to? But the tax paying public has to pay for a public defender for him? What a justice system. He is obviously still pulling all the strings.

Hecker and his game of keeping possessions that never were purchased thru scams on honest people. Our insurance cut off, we weren't allowed cobra, we lost our home, car and Hecker walks around with 4K in his pocket while going to the workhouse.

Heckers' public defender interfering with the creditors getting their monies is WRONG.

No taxpayer should flip the bill for Hecker while he golfs at Spring Hill, Wayzata, LaFayette Country Club.

zjudge Kressel and Quam we implore ou if his friends want to ay let them pay for anattorney on thier dime not ours. We have suffered enogh of his collateral damage for Hecker's deceit.
