The vendors were trying to remember a brief event that took place a month prior. They did remember talking to Scolaro, but were not sure on the day being the 24th or 25th. Based on supposed memories of the converstaions with Scolaro happening on a day that was cloudy and/or rainy,
One vendor said that "it must have been the 24th that he was with Joe" because he was outside with Joe and it was a nice day". However, another vendor said ON THAT SAME DAY that he and another vendor went out on a charter boat cruise of the Detroit river that same day and they got all wet from a heavy rain. The point is.....that although it did rain later that day, when the two other vendors BEGAN their cruise on the Detroit River, it WAS a nice day. Stearns and Fliss trying to find something against Joe Scolaro made the false incorrect assumption that it rained "all day" on June 25. Stearns and Fliss do not realize that Michigan weather changes greatly, and often. Lots of boaters on Lake St Clair can testify as to how sudden huge violent rain storms can appear on "nice days".

Be that as it may, you are correct that it is hard for anyone to remember, and PROVE, with witnesses, what happened 32 days ago, and be able to prove it.

Lastly, it does not matter if Joe Scolaro, KJJ, Paul, you, or anyone else, does not have an alibi for that day. 200 million Americans do not have an alibi for that day. Roebert has no alibi for that day. The Zodiac killer has no alibi for that day. Ted Kaczynski has no alibi for that day. Richard's biological father and Richard's biological brothers had no alibi for that day. None of the boyfriends and husbands of the secretaries that Dick sexually abused over the years, had an alibi for that day. Walt and Ellis (the partners in the secret $ billion dollar business deal) had no alibi for that day. The convicted criminals Brock, Bloxom, and Matthews had no verfiable alibi that day. Your mother had no alibi for that day.

Although it is true that if someone just so happens to have a foolproof verifiable alibi such can clear a potential suspect, the converse is NOT true.

"NOT having an alibi" means ABSOLUTELY!!! nothing, zilch, nada, rien.....

If Joe Scolaro is one of the 200 million Americans who do not have a provable verifiable alibi for June 25, 1968...... so what?

What "EVIDENCE"?

There was no "EVIDENCE" at all, anywhere, against Joe Scolaro. Nothing. Not a trace.

The entire case against Joe Scolaro, as presented by Fliss and Stearns, was a House of Cards, an illusion. None!!!! of the wild accusations made against Joe Scolaro could ever be proven in court.

OK cheyenne here is your opportunity.

Presumably the Richard Wiles presentation on 10/24 will be a reiteration of the "case" against Joe Scolaro.

This is your chance to make your "case" that the murderer was not Joe Scolaro as you have been doing and continue to do on this board for so long.

Hope you take the challenge.

One cannot prove "a negative". I can not even prove that Bchcmbr didn't do it. It is virtually impossible to prove that Joe, or any other 100 million other people, did not do it. Besides, nobody has to prove that Joe is innocent. Nobody has to prove that Bloxom and Matthews were innocent.Nobody has to prove that Wanda, Gail, Gwen, Corrine are innocent.

I realize that everyone "wants" the killer to be Joe Scolaro. Fliss and Stearns based their reputations, their careers, their entire investigation upon the baseless opinions that they made on the first day that the killer was Joe. I know everyone hates Joe. Joe Scolaro may be the most hated person in America, but that is not "PROOF" of anything.
The entire case against Joe is baseless, without any proof, and there is absolutely no evidence at all against Joe. There is absolutely no "EVIDENCE" at all that Joe Scolaro did any killing of anyone. There is absolutely no "PROOF" at all that Joe was guilty.

There is more proof right now against both: RoEBErt and The Zodius than there is against Joe Scolaro.

RoEBErt, in advance, placed himself to personally be at the crime scene at the Robison cottage in Good Hart on June 25, 1968. We have the testimony from several people that RoEBErt told both Richard and Shirley that RoEBErt was coming to the Robison cabin the day of the murders.

Secondly, The Zodius is a person we know of to have had personal knowledge of the murders that only the murderer would know.

As I mentioned above a few posts ago listing 31 points of the prosecution's case accusing Joe Scolaro, all of those 31 points are pure speculation and none of them can be proven. I too would like to believe that Joe did it, but unfortunately my imagination is just not wild enough to believe in the prosecution 31 points against Joe. The 31 points of the prosecution's case against Joe is just way too unbelievable and far out for me to believe - no matter how much I would want to.

I also am not consoled at all by lynching an innocent person for these crimes. Accusing the wrong man does not bring any justice to the Robison family. There is no justice for the Robison family to let the "real" murderer go free.

The best way to make the case that Joe Scolaro was not the murderer, is to get the MSP to investigate the 7 leading suspects and find the real person who did the killing. Go get all that evidence that Koski is holding. Do the DNA check on the stamp that Zodius mailed to The Detroit News.

Before you hang Joe Scolaro, first find out what Richard's biological brothers were doing on June 25, 1968.

RoEBErt already admitted that he was going to be at the Robison's cabin on June 25, 1968. Before you hang Joe Scolaro, first tell me what RoEBErt did that day.

If Joe did not take Shirley's ring nor her luggage tag, then tell me who did take them.

Everyone, including Rick Wiles, is entitled to their own "opinions", no matter how misguided, baseless, and unfounded those opinions may be. There is a BIG difference between guessing and speculating that Joe or RoEBErt or Wanda "might" have done it,but it is an entirely different matter to find evidence to support that theory. Nobody can PROVE that JOE did it.

If you, Rick, Mardi, Fliss, Stearns, or anyone else wants to pretend that Joe did it, then go ahead, but you are totally speculating. You can all sit around together and all make baseless unproven accusations against somebody who is not defending himself. You guys can believe whatever you want to believe.

What I want is for the real killer to be caught. I want all of the leads and suspects to be followed to the end and investigated till completion. I want evidence, and I want proof.

Bring in 3 people to this affair.

Bring in James Pecora (author of "Dead End"), bring in a good defense attorney to argue (for the very first time) against all the baseless accusations against Joe, and bring in William Rasmussen ( author of "Corroborating Evidence III"), and I will be there with bells on.

1. Author James Pecora would offer a good equal time counter point to author Mardi Link. Both of them have opinions, and both of them have different opinions.

2. A good defense attorney would show us how, in a court of law, all of the baseless accusations against Joe would be thrown out or nullified. A defense attorney would tell you that that the 4 casings found at the far right window near the bathroom were placed there in a pile, and that those 4 casings were too far away to be ejected there from an AR7 gun fired thru the window. The defense attorney will tell you that the police matched up up the bullets with the shell casings found throughout the cabin. The defense attorney will tell you that there were 21 spent 22LR shell casings found in the cabin did not match any AR-7. The defense attorney will tell you that he can bring in FBI ballistics expert who can tell us that another AR7 could have made the same markings. The defense attorney will tell you 4 AR7 casings found at the far right near the bathroom window were actually fired the year before in 1967 when Joe and Lora Lee visited the Robisons the previous summer..........and that would be just the first example of how any defense attorney will completely shred the prosecution's case against Joe.

3. Michigan author William Rasmussen ("Corroborating Evidence III"), first, makes a very good case that The Zodiac could have killed the Robison family. Secondly, Rasmussen further makes a case that The Zodiac could still be alive, probably in prison for some other crime, meaning that if Zodiac were the real killer of the Robisons then we could finally find justice as well as tie up all of the loose ends that could never be tied up with any other suspect.

* Both Zodiac and Kaczynski were ruthless killers, highly intelligent

*Both made references to opera, literature and Norse myths.

* Both demanded their words be published on the front pages of newspapers

*Both sent taunting messages to police and victims.

* Both usually used excessive postage, often double postage.

*Both were filled with hatred and a desire for revenge against society.

* Both owned and used Winchester Western .22 Super X ammo.

*Kaczynski shot a miner with a rifle - Zodiac threatened to shoot.... kids with a rifle

*Zodiac taunted police

*both usually killed male/female couples

*Both .......... were never caught, exhibited high intelligence and planning, played games with the police and media, wrote letters to the media and wrote cryptic poems.

*In both murders we have as victims a male - female couple ..........by the water

* In both the attacker has a gun, knife

*And like the Zodiac Killer attack at Lake Herman Road, a victim is shot in the back while running away.

*Also the exact same ammo was used at Santa Barbara 1963 and Zodiac attack on Lake Herman Road on 12/20/68 -.22 Winchester Western Super X, six right hand twists and grooves, indicating the same model of gun was used, and perhaps even the exact same weapon.

*The killer put blanket over the bodies or faces of the victims

*both.........size 9 1/2 to 10 1/2 shoe print,

*both ..........victimized those in the high tech or business worlds, had a rage against women, expressed a desire to kill couples,
..........often did crimes with a "nature" theme, such as victims, streets, cities with names or other tie ins to water, mountains, fauna, "green", animals and in particular TREES and WOOD..

*.........those he hated, which included "bigshots" but also college students and young women. He also wanted to - and did - kill "bigshots" like "big businessmen"

.
AK Wilks, that is interesting.

I am not convinced at all, though I admit you have found lots of uncommon coincidences, and lots of similarities. Coincidences not only between Zodiac and Kaczynski, but also in common with the Robisons' murderer.

Because the MSP has, as of yet, never found any actual credible suspect in the Robison murders, my mind is open and I personally would have no objection if the MSP were to begin a full investigation of Zodiac/Zodius being a suspect in the Michigan Robison murders.

I think there is some merit in having the MSP begin to look into the Robison "Zodius lead" which they have known about and have ignored for 43 years.

Roaming in a 25-mile radius from his cabin here, Kaxzynski booby-trapped motorcycle trails with wires strung between trees,

In 1982, according to Waits' book, Kaczynski smashed up a vacation home and destroyed a motorcycle......

near Blisswood when as they came around a corner of the road, their vehicle hit an outstretched cable damaging the front end of the car.....there was oil in the road as well.A short time after , my cousin Bliss was killed in a motorcycle crash near Blisswood....... my father was convinced that the crash was not an accident and that cable that my father struck was intended for my cousin Monte Bliss's son.

The same day when the Robison family was thought to have been murdered, it was evening and my parents were on the beach very close to the Robison cabin. It grew darker and at some point my father and mother saw a lantern in the woods. My father believing it was Richard Robison called out in the direction of the lantern,“is that you Richard?” and then the lantern went out.I asked my father in he ever reported any of this to the investigators and he said yes.

Roebert's voice on the phone was described as "monontone", "frequent pauses" and "robotic". This is similar to the reports by police dispatcher Nancy Slover on the voice of Zodiac.

Ted Kaczynski owned a .22 rifle and pistol, and a Raven .25 automatic pistol.

John Douglas said his study showed posing of bodies happened in about 1% of murder cases. Both SB 63 and this case have posing, including placing one body atop another. HE PLACED THE BODY OF ONE OF THE SONS ON TOP OF MR. ROBISON. This is very rare and is similar to the possible Zodiac crime of Domingos and Edwards, were the body of Linda Edwards was placed on top of Domingos. He then placed the body of Suzie next to her brother.

Both also have blanket placed over a body, and stripping of female clothes.Mrs. Robison had her dress lifted, Valerie Percy had her nightgown lifted and Linda Edwards had her bathing suit top cut off.
Ted Kaczynski had a family home in Illinois and had lived in Michigan for almost 5 years, between 1962 and 1966/part of 1967.

Rasmussen raises a new theory. He mentions reports that Mr. Robison, and Kaczynski were opera and arts fans, Robison was an OPERA fan and publisher of an arts and entertainment magazine

There was a reported possible meeting in SAN FRANCISCO on June 4 - 7, 1968 between future victim Mr. Robison and the mysterious Mr. Roeberts, and another meeting in Detroit on June 13/14, 1968. The next meeting was scheduled for June 25, 1968, the day the family was killed.

"Corroborating Evidence III" by William T. Rasmussen, The Robison case has definite similarities to the Percy case. This Robison case also has many similarities to the murders of the Monsanto Chemical Company employee Mr. Bricca and his family in Ohio on September 25/27, 1966 and the murder of computer expert and State Education official Dr. Sims and his family murder in Florida on October 22, 1966.

.22 caliber Armalite Model AR-7 semi-automatic rifle
.25 caliber SAKO "Finnish" brand ammo
.22 caliber Remington-Peters ammo

Suspect: JOSEPH R. SCOLARO III WM, 31 years old of Birmingham, Michigan. Employee of victim since December of 1965-left in charge of business in the absence of the victim

Motive:(embezzlement)

The suspect was left in charge of business for three months (April,May,June 1968) prior to the murder and was left with signed blank business checks.

During the period suspect was left in charge of business his salary increased from $600 take home semi-monthly to $2000 take home semi-monthly. He was also receiving expense checks ranging from $300 to $1000 as often as twice a week. The investigation indicates that victim was not aware of this until 6-25-68.
This can be verified by the accountant and the records. It is believed he did learn about it on 6-25-68 and confronted the suspect with it by phone. Prior to 9:45 AM on 6-25-68 the suspect and the victim were in contact by phone 4 times. At 9:45 AM the victim called his secretary and told her to call the bank manager and stop payments on all his business checks as he had left blank checks at his office. The victim also called the bank manager (NBD) 10 minutes later and advised him to stop payment on the checks.

PROOFS:

On 2-4-68 the suspect purchased two .25 caliber Beretta, model 950-B pistols, serial numbers 47910 and 47386 along with 100 rounds of .25 caliber SAKO brand ammo. The suspect still has serial #47910 which has been checked out. Serial #47836 is missing and the suspect states he gave this gun along with the 100 rounds of SAKO ammo to the victim, the day after he purchased them. However, officer's investigation has failed to turn up anything that would substantiate this.
NOTE: The suspect's wife told officers that the suspect had both guns at their house from the time he purchased them until June, 1968, when he took one of them to work.

The SAKO brand ammo is so rare that neither the laboratory officers or the field offers could locate any of it in Michigan for comparison. Some was eventually obtained from the Military Intelligence office.

On 9-3-66 the suspect purchased an ARMALITE Model AR-7,.22 caliber rifle, serial # 68314. On 11-28-66 the suspect purchased another like rifle, serial #75878. Shortly after he purchased #68314 he gave to a friend in Chicago. Officers have retrieved and checked this gun and it was not the weapon used in the crime. Sometime in spring/summer of 1967 the suspect and his brother-in-law (by marriage) fired #75978 on property near Union Lake. Officers checked this location and found numerous empty casings. The crime lab identified them as having come from the same gun used in the crime. The suspect advised officers that he had given this gun to same brother-in-law prior to the murders but brother-in-law has denied this.
This gun is still missing.
NOTE:The gun is so rare and unusual that even most sport and gun shops have never seen them.

On 6-25-68 the suspect left the office of RC Robison & Associates in Lathrup Village 11:00 AM and did not arrive home until after 11:00 PM. This fact is confirmed by his own statement and that of his wife. His alibi as to his whereabouts on that day has been found to be false.

1. BAD CHECKS?-----Huh? NO. You are falsely accusing Joe of stealing money during the March/May 1968 - to the June 25 1968 period. There would have been no way for Joe to have embezzled money from March/May to the end of June without expecting that Richard would surely find out about it within 2 weeks, within the long standing traditional review period where Richard meets with Cal Mackey every 2 weeks to go over every check written . Dick was not dead from March 1 1968 to June 25 1968. It is unreasonable, misleading, and incorrect to make an unsubstantiated claim that Richard did not know that he had not been talking to Cal Mackey for 2 whole months. You are insulting Richard by saying that Richard had no idea about what was happening from March 1968 thru June 25 1968. You are insulting Richard by saying that Richard did not know that Richard and Cal Mackey, and Cal Mackey's father, had a long time custom of reviewing in detail at least know that he every 2 weeks every single check that was written. From March to June 1968, Richard Robison was not on the moon. Richard was right here just 2 blocks from the office. How could Richard not realize that he was not talking to Cal about company checks? There is no way that Joe could have stolen money from March or May to June without expecting that it would not be discovered in Richard's traditional bi-weekly meetings with Cal. Richard and Cal Mackey always kept close control and close scrutiny of the company finances and the company check book. Joe would know that If anyobdy had written any bad checks prior to June 25 that Richard would know within 2 weeks about it. Besides, EVERYONE in the office got a raise, not just Joe. The fact is, that Richard Robison willingly and deliberately turned over all control of the business over to Joe, including accounting control and check writing beginning back in the March/May time period.

2. CHECKING ACCOUNT?--NO.---On June 25, Richard was primarily upset about the signed blank checks that Richard had mailed to Joe and Richard placed a hold on his checking account, and also Richard was upset about the missing $200,000.00 not being deposited to his checking account by RoEBErt. Missing unsigned checks are something anybody could be upset about. Richard placed a hold on the checking account early in the morning because of the missing blank checks. After Joe went to the Post Office and found the missing blank checks, Richard then called NBD later in the morning and released his hold made earlier in the day. Joe had nothing to do with the missing $200,000.00 that RoEBErt did not deposit.

2. EMBEZZLEMENT?---NO.--Loudly accusing Joe of embezzlement has always been a wild false lie made up by Stearns and Fliss. Joe never embezzled from Richard in 1968. Fliss and Stearns even brought in teams of both private and government forensic accountants, as well as bringing in Richards personal accountant Cal Mackey, to try to find any evidence at all of embezzlement by Joe, and nobody could find not even 1 single example of embezzlement by Joe. Joe was cleared of all allegations of embezzlement and of course Joe was never even charged with embezzlement. Not a thing.

3. JOE'S IMMUNITY------ Even if Joe had embezzled Richard, Joe had absolutely no motive and no need to kill Richard since Richard would never do anything to someone who knew all of Richards illicit sexual extramarital affairs and Richard's fraudulent advertising. If Richard wanted to keep his marraige and his family, keep his business, keep his savings, keep his church standing, then Richard could never ever fire Joe no matter what Joe did.

4. UNBELIEVABLE PROPOSED SCENARIO-------It requires an EXTREMELY very wild imagination to think that any embezzler would drive 600 miles and then kill the entire family, women and children, of the patsy. Do you realize how rare that this woudl be? Do you realize that such a thing as this is virtually unheard of? To call it "rare", would be an understatement.

From the Couvault letter, it is clear that Robison LIFTED his stop payment order, leaving Scolaro with the ability to continue to write checks. Would Robison have done this if he thought Scolaro was stealing from him? Scolaro was never charged with embezzlement. From the Couvault letter:

On the morning of the homicides, Richard Robison inquired of his banker by phone whether a $200,000
deposit had been made to the company account. When advised it had not, he ordered payment stopped
on all company checks. Within the next hour, Robison called the bank and withdrew the stop payment
instruction.

5. RICHARD'S BERETTA HANDGUN AND RICHARD'S SAKO AMMUNITION----The very simple explanation for the Beretta and the rare Sako ammunition, is that the killer stole them from Richard, possibly he stole them the day before the murders or in the middle of the night before. Shooting someone with a gun stolen from a vitcim, happens all the time - it litterally happens happens every day in this country. Nothing at all unsusual at all about that. In all probablility the murderer stole the Beretta (either on June 24 or June 25) and the bullets from the Robison cabin while the Robisons were out to dinner in Mackinaw, and the murderer later used Richard's own gun to kill the entire Robison family. The Beretta Jetfire used in the crime was bought by Joe in 1968 with the intention of giving it to Richard and at the time that the gun was bought Joe told the seller and Joe told his wife that he bought the gun for the purpose of giving it to Richard. Joe DID!!! give the Beretta, and all of the Sako bullets, to Richard in June 1968 while Richard prepared to go up north for the summer. In all probability, the killer was at the Robison cabin at least by June 23 or 24. Possibly, while the Robison's went out to dinner, the killer entered the cabin, looked around, found Richard's Beretta in a drawer, and the murderer took the gun to use it the next day.(There is also a possibly, it can not be ruled out, that the killer may also have taken the Robison's 22 Mossberg rifle)

6. AR7 CASING EJECTION IMPOSSIBILITY ----The 4 22LR shell casings found in a small pile near the bathroom and the right cabin window were not ejected to that location from an AR7 rifle shot thru the window pane near the door which is on the left side of the cabin. An AR7 does not, and can not, eject shell casings to a distance of 15 feet away, and an AR7 also does not eject spent casings into a small pile. Additionally, generally speaking, the further that any gun ejects spent shell casings, the more likely the more wider disbursement area that the casings will end up falling in.

7. THE 4 AR7 SHELL CASINGS FROM SUMMER OF 1967---- Joe bought an AR7 22LR rifle in 1967 and at that time Joe told 3 people in 1967 that he was going to take the AR7 up north to the Robison's for Joe and Richard to shoot it. The 4 AR7 casings found near the right window were fired 12 months earlier back in 1967 when Joe and Lora Lee visited the Robison cabin the previous summer. Moreover, the 4 AR7 spent casings found near the bathroom and the right window did not match up with the 22LR bullets fired in the bodies or the cabin, and those 4 AR7 casings found near the bathroom and the right window of the cabin had been laying there since the previous summer of 1967.

8. THE 22LR BULLETS AND CASINGS ACTUALLY USED IN THE CRIMES - It is important to note, and being contrary to long established police procedures, that the police in this case NEVER matched up all the bullets with all the spent casings found at the crime scene. The police never matched up all of the found spent casings with all of the found bullets fired in or into the cabin. The fact is, that NONE!!! of the 22LR bullets fired into the cabin, 22LR bullets fired into the furnishings, 22LR bullets into the bodies, were fired from an AR7 22Lr rifle!!!.
The police also found (other than the irrelevent 4 spent casings found outside the bathroom right window from the summer of 1967) ANOTHER 21 spent 22LR spent casings. NONE of these OTHER much more important 21 spent casings that the police found at the crime scene were fired from an AR7 rifle. The 21 OTHER spent casings found at the crime scene, and all of the bullets in the bodies and in the walls of the cabin, were all from some other 22LR gun - the bullets which caused the deaths were NOT from an AR7 rifle. The bullets and casings actually used to kill the Robisons were not fired from an AR7 rifle.

This fact alone, should have cleared Joe Scolaro long long ago. Richard would never have lifted the stop check order if he had any misgivings at all in his most trusted employee, and best friend Joe Scolaro.

RICHARD ROBISON, himself, personally CLEARED JOE of the murders!

On Friday September 12, 1969, one year and three months after telling police about purchasing two identical .25 caliber Beretta handguns and the specialized .25 caliber SAKO ammunition from Williams Gunsight near Flint, Michigan, the Michigan State police arrested Joseph Scolaro III at @ 5 PM on charges of obtaining money under false pretenses.

The charge stated that Scolaro wrote checks from his newly named business Village House Advertising, INC and also checks from his new Village House Publishers, INC of OAK PARK, MI (National Bank of Detroit accounts) during August totaling $1,697.00 that all bounced.

PAMCO (Planned Auto Management Co of Birmingham, MI ()a car leasing company) signed the complaint.

On Saturday morning, September 13, lawyer David Freed of Bloomfield Hills, Mi arrived at the 16th precinct in Detroit to post a $5,000 bond. He was brought there by Scolaro's mother Kitty.

Lawyer Fried, however, did not arrive before Scolaro
(one year and 3 months after admitting to owning two Beretta .25 caliber pistols and SAKO ammo)NOW ADMITTED THAT THE .22 caliber weapon police had been looking for and had not yet been able to discern a type (rifle or pistol) was most likely a .22 caliber semi-automatic ARMALITE AR-7.

Now, for the first time in 15 months, the police knew the second type of weapon. And, once again, the sole purchaser of the semi-automatic rifle was Joseph Raymond Scolaro III.

He had bought one in September of 1966 and, like the Beretta's, bought another in November of 1967--both from the same part-time gun dealer in Pontiac, Michigan.

So, the police in September of 1969 finally knew what second type of .22 caliber weapon they were searching for in the case. Joseph Scolaro had conveniently forgotten to tell the police about his two purchases until he was arrested for writing bad checks and (because he never asked what he was being arrested for on Friday 9/12/1969) assumed it was for the Robison murders--so he quickly, like always, started his fast talking manner to make an excuse for why he no longer had those weapons!

Unfortunately, for Mr Scolaro, the part time Pontiac gun dealer was also a full time business accountant for a Pontiac, Michigan building company and was a very detailed oriented record keeper. When he was interviewed about the alibi given by Scolaro--that he had returned the .22 AR-7 #75878 to the gun dealer in exchange for a skeet shooting shotgun--the gun dealer said that did not happen and his detailed records of guns sold or returned showed the same thing.

It was during this same interview (October 1969)that police learned that the part-time gun dealer/full time accountant was baffled (as was all of his related family members) by the extravagant display of money Joe had been exhibiting for the months prior to the Robison murders. No one in the family (the gun dealer and accountant was Joe's brother in law by marriage) could understand all the new cars, rings, furs, furniture etc. Joe had been purchasing.

Herbert Johnson then told the police that he had fired that particular .22 caliber AR-7 with Joe at the target range of his in-laws near Union Lake back in the spring of 1968. That is when they took a metal detector to the Fuhlman property (Joe's wife's father's and mother's land) and found the spent .22 shell casings labeled Remington-Peters.

Crime lab # 1309-68 reported on 11-17-69 that five of the listed 6 shells brought in for examination on 11/14/69 were an exact match to the four /22 caliber shells retrieved from the crime scene. The other 15 shells examined exhibited similar characteristics--one shell could not be identified.

1. This is totally irrelevant. This has nothing at all to do with the Robison murders.

2. The bad check charge was in September of 1969. 15 months AFTER!!!! the Robisons died.

3. The bad check charge was a checking account owned by Joe Scolaro, not Dick Robison.

4. Joe was arrested for writing a check that bounced, i.e. insufficient funds. I personally think writing a check without having enough money in the account at the time the check is written, is rather innocuous - millions of Americans do this every day.

5. Joe was never convicted of this. The charges were dropped.

6. Fliss and Stearns, singling out Joe (for what millions of other people do all the time without being arrested), arresting of Joe for writing a check with insufficient funds, is yet another example of Fliss and Stearns trying anything, doing anything, to harrass and accuse Joe Scolaro.

7. I am suspicious of anyone who wants to bring up arresting someone for writing a check without having enough money in the account at the time the check is written. Is EVERYONE who writes a check without having enough money in their checking account a suspect in the Robison murders?
Should everyone who writes a check with insufficient funds be arrested and prosecuted like Joe Scolaro was? Should everyone who gets charged by the bank for a returned NSF check go to prison? Half of the people I know have done this at least once in their lives.

8. The desperation of those grab at any straw to make something out of nothing, who have no limits at all in their singlemindedness to harass a person is unbelievable!

9. Didnt Fliss and Stearns have anything better to do? THIS!!!! is why this case was never solved. THIS is why Fliss and Stearns did not have time to check out RoEBErt. THIS is why Fliss and Stearns did not check out Richards biological family and the Probate courts for the inheritance that Richard would not be able to collect. THIS is why Fliss and Stearns did not check out the business partners in a billion dollar business deal, why Fliss and Stearns did not check out all the secretaries and their boyfriends that Richard abused or had affairs with.

I am so disgusted with how Fliss and Sterarns did not check out any of the 7 most likely suspects in the murders because they were too busy trying to pin anything on Joe.
