A suspect has been charged with the New Year's Eve murder of a man in Coleman . Edward Mack Kile, 66, of Coleman was charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of 68-year-old James Smith of Lake ... via KTAB KRBC TV

Have we forgotten that we are dealing with humans here? Why such harsh words as "the old man?" Do we not see his son's entry in this blog? He specifically signs his message with love. A crime has been committed, yes, but have some heart for the victims in this case, namely his son.

His name is James W. Smith and he is my grandfather. He died 2 days after meeting his first great grandson (my son) for the first time. He is missed very much.

He might not. They are working on a plea bargain to prevent it from going to trial. It's a big mess and very emotional for the families. I think the best thing to do is just pray for everyone involved and that God's Will will be done.
