While reading more about Jakes, I believe I've discovered the meaning behind a license plate message seen on an white escalade (Gift From God) and in turn - the reference to the black version of Jim Baker.

Also found that no one has been able to find any scandal yet in his background. So if all his wealth is due to hard work and preaching the gospel - the God Bless Him. I wish him well.

clown buster my neighborhood is a minister; although he is retired now. i have lived by this man for 20 years and he is a true man of God. He does not talk the talk, he walks the walk. i will not use his name, since i dont have permission, but he is an example of what a man of God should be. so yes there is one there are others, but i know this man and his character. of course all preachers are human and subject to human frailty so if you are just looking to tear down a preacher, you will eventually find fault. it must be sad to see life from your point of view that everything good is bad in some way.

Agree. I once read a passage that went something like this:

It does the hater very little good to hate and keep on hating. The person you hate goes on living their life oblivious - or choosing not to let the hate them.

But the hater lives his life consumed the hate and bitterness. After a while, it's time to let go.
