I always love to try my best to keep our local business in my sights away from the concrete jungle and the mega circus stores, but after the reviews I'm hearing on Lone Star Furniture I believe the owners should head on back north where rude is acceptable.

Here in Texas we operate on a handshake and trust. Sometimes you may encounter a problem that needs legit attention and it has to be dealt with one or two ways. Either email, letter or a phone call, but by no means rude to a paying customer.

I'm not like what I'm hearing and going to write an article for Houston Community Newspaper to include a big thumbs down for Lone Star Furniture and good luck at the liquidation sale.

The young guy (I guess the son) was alright. He worked with us to get us what we wanted and didn't harass or pressure us. We had a little friendly banter with him and he made us feel like we were getting a deal. The older guy (dad) on the other hand was an ass! We almost left because he was starting to piss us off.$4000 ain't
Chump change, we need to feel good about spending it. He followed us around, belittling our choices, not wanting to answer my questions, acting like we couldn't afford anything from their anyhow, pressuring us to just pick something so he could get his commission or whatever. Very rude!! We were walking out to go to the one in Baytown that sells the same stuff and the younger one started yelling at him and told him to get away from us and go in the office.. We ended up buying a set from him..
