I hope that dog does not get run over. When I saw it, it was in front of Sammy's at the curve just standing in the right hand lane. I almost hit it, but was able to stop. Luckily, I did not get hit from behind. I hunked at the dog to get out of the road and he just looked at me like I was the
one in the wrong place.
I hope the dog made it back home, o.k.

That dog has been running the roads of Crosby for at least 6 months or longer. People in Crosby feed him, and someone on craigslist said they were trying to take him in to give him a home, but he is too scared to get close to them. I've seen him from Newport and all the way down to Walmart. But stays around the crawfish shack because they will feed him around there. He is all over the place, and is usually pretty good about watching for cars. (I swear he looked both ways before crossing the street at Newport one day) Poor puppy, I hope he doesn't get run over either cause he is such a cutie pie.
