Cheryl is showing good signs right now.....they pinched her foot and she tried moving her knee, she tried to squeeze a relatives hand, her eyes are fluttering, but still too swollen to open them, she has moved her arms...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, forget about the drunk driver that hit them for a moment and lets all just pray and be with Cheryl and Rock and Tony and Susie that they will all be ok and recover to the fullest extent possible....The drunk driver will be dealt with legally and even if she walks away with little or no punsihment, just be thankful that we still have our four wonderful friends and family members.....The drunk driver will have to sleep the rest of her life knowing what she did, as long as my four friends are ok I am ok with that. Please take this moment to send thoughts and prayers their way. Thank you

I have a real problem here. There is so much he said she said they said crap goingon. Please respect the familys wish of putting a stop to rumors. The family will let everyone know what is going in due time. Both Rock and Cherylas families are having to deal with alot in their lives right now.
A little about me. I had a friend get killed 2 weeks ago while riding his bike. I have sat on my bike beside Johnnie for many many miles. I can say that sitting next to Johnnie he had been my constant while riding over the last 6 years. Here is a little note that I posted on my Facebook page. Please read it and learn from others mistakes. Yes I still hold anger against the guy that did this. I know I shoould let it go and let the legal aspects of it that their course. It's hard. But we all must at some point look at the big picture. I was told by a new and now after this incident a dear friend that if Johnnie lossing his life in a traggic manner as this took this piece of scum out of circulation and off the streets could possible save move inocent peoples and possibaly kids lives then johnnie would be happy. Johnnie was about the kids as you will read later on.
Again my deepest thought and prayers go out to Rock and Cheryl along with all of the friends and family. See y'all at ROCKY's Pelican Juction...
Johnnie's story is on the next post.

To those that don't know or haven't heard a really close friend of mine was killed yesturday. His name was Johnnie D Williams, he worked for HFD & was also a member of Wind & Fire MC Houston. Johnnie was on his bike and he had left his house and was traveling down 517 when a drunk driver named Shane Holton who ran a stop sign along with a set of Flashing RED LIGHTS and pulled in front of him. Holton wasn't hurt in the accident (NO $h1t he was drunk and in a vehicle). Johnnie on the other hand was LifeFlighted to John Sealy Hospital in Galveston were he later passed away due to internal injuries. DPS said theres is no word yet if Holton will face any charges. Johnnie worked out of Fire Station 71 in Clear Lake. I know I have a lot of friends that will go out and drink and drive. I know they have done this in the past and will continue to do this. I haven't had a drink in almost 5 years. I am happy to say. No to answer your questions I didn't have a problem and didn't go to AA. It was do to the meds I started taking due to blood clots. I don't have a problem with any of my friends going out and tieing one on. I don't care if you get kidney killing drunk. All I care about is your A$$ getting behind the whell of your vehicle and driving. PLEASE DON'T... I dont want anyone else to have to go through the heart aches that Johnnies friends and family are having to bare right now. DRUNK DRIVERS never really hit home to anyone until it HITS home and someone close to gets killed cause some dumb ass takes their life. I don't want my friends to be that DUMB A$$. I don't want anymore of my friends to end up like my brother Johnnie. He was in the process of planning his daughters wedding. Now this babygirl wont have her daddy to walk her down the aisle. She wont have her daddy to give her away. All because of one sorry stupid assanine(whatever) move on one DRUNK MF. I don't care what he has done in the past all I know is this SORRY PIECE OF CRAP took my friends and brother. Johnnie was a great guy and it wasn't suppose to be time for him to go. We had talked about going to FDNY next year for the 10th Ann of 9-11. I will be still going but now it will be to honor Johnnie and his love of the FD, riding his Harley and for the kids of Camp Janus that he put so much time into to raise money for them to be able to go to camp. Johnnie I love you brother I am going to miss you my brother. Ride hard and ride fast. Clear a path my brother cause one day we will ride again together. So find all the great roads to ride that God has up there. Love ya and you will be very very missed.
Since thios was posted Holton has been charged with Intox. Manslaighter and awaits trial. Can you guess who will be at his trails and hearings... Yep the guy that just wrote a book here.
Peace out and ride safe the road is full of IDIOTS...

1) I would like say I am praying for Cheryl & Rock. And all the family. And Jennifer you are doing a great job with all the updates. 2) Calvin I am sorry to hear about your loss. I know first handed how hard that is. My son was killed by a DRUNK DRIVER. And it is so hard to just get though the day sometimes.

I too am praying for Cherl and Rock. And as far as the drinking and driving, I do not agree with it. However, I believe that everyone has done it a couple of times. I admit I have. Thankfully knowone was hurt, due to my stupidity. However, to through Tina under the bus because she had a few beers, is not the answer. Even the people on the bikes had been drinking and if you saw the vechiles afters the wreck you would know that the motorcycles swiped the left side of her vechile, she was still in her lane. How could she she come to a complete stop to make a turn, and turn out infront of them if, the motorcycle hit the drivers side of her vechile? And the speed limit is 45. If she had turned infront of them then they would have hit the passenger side. Look at the facts, and you will see that its a little more complex then a drunk driver hitting the motorcycle. All in all this was a very unfortunite event I wouldnt wish it on anyone. I will to continue to pray for the recovery of the motorcycle drivers.

people just dont have respect for the families of Rodney (rock) and Cheryl. I know for a fact that there have been several people that have asked repeatedly to stop the rumors and drama on here. All we want for both of the families is prayers from everyone not all this crap that is going on on this forum. Regardless who was or wasn't drunk or who was or wasn't drinking right now that is not what we should be focused on. Rodney and Cheryl both need alot of prayers from everyone to get thru this whole nightmare. Then once they recover from this, then it is their deal to point fingers and find out the true to the whole wreck. As a mother of Rodney's son...all this crap on here about what if, and how come, and he said she said is disturbing and disrespect. Have respect for these two and their children and families that having to deal with the trama that these two are going thru.

My prayers are with Rodney, Cheryl, the kids, and their families during this tough time. God will be beside you regardless of the outcome....

What about the fact that Tina didn't just have a couple of beers. She was well over the legal limit to drive, that is why she went to jail. And then post on Facebook worse 27 hours of her life. Really! What about the people that were injured. it sounds like all involved were carless at some point. As far as the couples on the bikes drinking, People can go out to bars and NOT drink. I go out to Bars and DONT drink. Just because they went out does not mean they had been drinking. Plain and simple drinking and driving does NOT mix. If you drink DON"T DRIVE.

Correct...some people do go to bars and not drink. But was the riders of the motorcycle's drinking also? No one seems to want to answer the question at hand. If the young lady bailed out at the bail that people are posting then I would be almost positive that she was NOT AT FAULT.

No one can answer whether the couple on the bikes were drinking because they have been on life support, and/or in surgery. No matter who is at fault this is very serious. If I knew the answer I would tell you truthflly. As for Tina posting bail, you can post bail to get out of jail for drinking and driving. The problem she will face in the future is license suspension, surcharge of $1500 a year to keep her license active, and if she has any past offenses of DWI or DUI then she may never be allowed to drive again and possible jail time. Tina and her male passenger are just as responsible for going to the bar and drinking, then getting behind the wheel and driving. I can only hope that Tina was turning in the driveway of her home to go to bed and not picking her children up to in turn get behind the wheel and drive with her innocent children in the car with her. This is sad for all involved. THis should be a learning experience for all involved. And Tina this means that you do not go to Routy Bucks this weekend to tie another one on.

Sometimes an accident is an accident. I do not think anyone should drink and drive!!!! Her bail has alot to do with the charges. Her bail was 500.00 which her bond was ?????

This is Kim, Cheryls cousin-I have used my real name bc I don't believe in hiding behind a computer. For everyone who's praying and offering support to Cheryl and Rocks families thank you-they all need it more than imaginable right now. Now excuse me while I take down a notch a few people on her running their mouths such as Kelvz/Arco-whatever....IF you find yourself with so much energy or anger against anyone I have a list of things that will benefit all our loved ones in a more positive way! There is a benefit on the 29th we all know about so as you sit there at your computer DO SOMETHING!!! Call for donations, pass out fliers, go to businesses for things to auction...you don't even have to get up from your computer to do that!! IF you still find yourself with extra time on your hands please msg me and I will be more than happy to provide you with something to do that will make a positive impact! And furthermore when Cheryls own daughter requested that this thread be stopped and you came back at her with meaness about how this is a public forum-SHAME ON YOU!!! Public is one thing and decency is another-may God have mercy on you!

I actually talked to her and asked her what she ment. She said "I was just in a horrible wreck, was isolated away and had know idea the condition of the others in the accident. Someone took the comment for more then was it was. She was scared, alone, and couldnt help the others involved. Do you think she wanted this to happen? Accidents are horrible but they happen everyday. And I would like to clear up one thing, I never said that the motorcyclist were at the bar, and I will leave that at that.

Does anyone have a mailing address or a PO BOX that raised money can be mailed to. I wont be able to make the benfit but I can help raise some money and mail it in.

Enough is enough!! I have so much to say. Over the past few days of seeing more & more post being added! Yes, there was a comment made by whomever that this is a public place to talk and chat or whatever the hell you do on here! Almost everyone on this post is being ridiculous, childish & just plan wrong!! There are real lives on the line here, Cheryl, Rock & two others that were hurt in the wreck,ďTinaĒ who was the driver of the car & a male passenger. Regardless of what you think or feel about the situation nothing is in any of our hands!! Itís all left up to God & the justice systems. No one on the post was actually at the scene of the wreck so therefore you really donít know what really happen at the wreck. If you were on the scene then mostly liking you were told not to release any info that you do know!
Also someone made to comment ďIf you donít like what your seeing don look at itĒ maybe the wording was different but I donít care. If someone was talking about your mom, dad, cousin, aunt, uncle friend, lover whatever you would want to see whatís being said. The fact of the matter is ALL parties involved do have people who care about them who are scared & fear for what may happen in the future! So honestly right now is not the time to be talking shit & getting mad at each other over a computer! Like I said before unless youíre God or the judge of this case anything you say is useless! Everyone needs to have more respect as an adult to know better then you sit around and chat about other people s lives! If you want update on Cheryl & Rock about how their conditions then get a face book. Her daughter is adding anyone right now and posting accrete information told to her by Drs and nurses! As for the driver of the car Iím sure shortly it will be in the paper & for the public to see. All the fact will come out in the end!
For a young girl to be posting things on her face book as she was released from jail, maybe was not the best choice for her & the other families involved. Deleting what she did was probably for the best but other do have it document. We all live in every small & people talk, things will get twisted but when you see something first hand for get your info directly from Drs Itís legit!
Itís all just a waiting game now, meaning to continue having great progress for Cheryl, That Rock & the others that were injured have a fasted & as painless as can be recovery & the girl & guy in the car await their charges!
Everyone needs to thank God that your still walking, talking, eating & your normal day to day life is still given to you! It could be taken in a heartbeat!! All of the people involved in the accident have a long hard road ahead of them no matter what the situation or what side their on! Yes, this is a very unfair situation but honestly it could happen to anyone! Iím pretty sure lots of you posting are guilty of drinking & driving. Yes, most know your limit or get a DD but some choose to avoid it. Then things as this happen!
Like I said before you want info about the condition of the injured get a face book, itís as free and easy as this website look up Jennifer and all the correct & accurate information will be there.
Iím a VERY close to the people who were seriously injured & if I can be as positive as Iím being with this situation then other family members, friends & strangers should feel the same! Let God take control now! Just Pray is all you can do now!! & hope for the best out come!

So that being said everyone should respect the wishes of the daughter & other family members. That this post should be about positive praying and condolences, not bashing one another out of anger and heartbreak.

Thank You & God Bless
christine

Calvin so sorry to hear abt you loss.. i can relate to where you are coming from.. my own mother was a drunk driver when she drove the wrong way on i-10 back in june 1999.. she was in a coma for almost 4 years before she past away in april 2003.. i tell everyone all the time you never know whats going to happen and when.. i hate the fact i didnt get to see my mother that day before her wreck and i hate the fact that i cant just call her a say "i love you".. i admitt i have drunk and got behind the wheel but i will honestly say i will never do it again..

Cheryl took me in like her own daughter and taught me things a mother teaches like cooking, and taking care of the household duties and she has showed me how to be a great wife and friend.. im praying that Cheryl pulls thru this cause i cant lose another mother.. once was enough.. my mother was my best friend and Cheryl took that roll of my best friend and being my mother when she didnt have to do that.. i love Rock very much too.. there is not a day that goes by since saturday night that i dont walk outside and just wish i would see the garage door open and him and her sitting in there.. Rock will sometimes hide behind the side of my house with the waterhose and wait til i walk outside(YES THEY ARE MY NEIGHBORS).. the two of them together is GREAT and they will BOTH PULL THRU THIS soo they can come home.. Cheryl & Rock i love you two very much and neither one of you better never forget that OK!! im always here and i will see you two soon.. thats a PROMISE :)

i wasnt going to post anything else on here but i just wanted to share my story too

GOD BLESS EVERYONE!!!

I couldn't have said it better myself. Baytown and Christine hit the nail on the head. We need to pull this community together and pray for all involved. Come together and help with the benefit. Make donations and if you can't make a monetary donations, donate a auction item. Bake cookies, cakes, pies and donate for these families. For anyone who knows Cheryl that is something that Cheryl is known for besides her kind loving heart. She likes to bake/cook anything. Lets all come together on August 29th and help Cheryl & Rock.

May God Bless all of you
