Legislators please don't think too much!

You all might create a problem that wasn'e even there even the first place.

That goes for Eric and Bob as well.

The best thing legislators could create is municipal power. they should of created it forever ago! Do you realize how much residents could save by converting from oil, kerosene to cheap municipal electric heat?It would astound most of us! Another thing would of been to get guaranteed lower rates for the windmill industry invading our county. Sending cheap electric away is just ludicrous! Im sure some obstacles would have to be overcome, but municipal power should have been helping all residents of the area a long time ago. Black River can produce so much cheap power. Some legislators need to weigh the bottom line for the benefit of the whole county. Oil prices are going to break the county!

"Thinking too much" is not something you need to fear from this board. Thinking at all would be an improvement.

How many times have we gone over this on Topix? The savings in municipal power is found in owning the lines, not the power source. Unless you wanted the county to run all new electrical lines throughout the county, having access to windmill power would save us no money. In fact, Green Energy, like that developed by the windmills is more expensive that that produced by coal or nuclear sources.
