Woman gets prison for several charges

LOWVILLE A former Croghan woman will serve up to 15 years in state prison on charges stemming from evidence tampering, drug sales and a string of burglaries.

Shannon M. Larkins,31, address listed as Lewis County jail, on Monday in Lewis County Court was sentenced as a second-felony offender to 11 to 15 years in prison, three years of post-release parole supervision,$11,756.70 restitution,$1,125 in court fees and a six-month suspension of driving privileges on charges of third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, and tampering with physical evidence.

She pleaded guilty to those charges March 5, satisfying myriad other charges lodged against her in County Court. The deal also covered an open petit larceny case in Lowville Village Court.
