I say Vote yes, all it increases is 23 dollars a year. They need the turf because that field gets so much use, and maintance on it is hard. the turf will be able to keep up with all the playing.Don't forget that it's not just football, soccer, track.

The tax payers don't care if the kids have ruddy accident prone fields to play sports on. The kids at Beaver River don't have enough fields or any decent ones. It's like playing on cow fields. But the tax payers are only worried about having to pay 20 bucks more a year, because that will break the bank.

(hey), I find it hard to believe you went to school at all, unless you rode the blue bus w/the white racing stripe. You obviously wasted the tax dollars we paid for your english lessons. Maybe you should've went to a private school.

BR only had 66 students graduate last year. Close it and merge with Lowville or Carthage.

maybe if we had better sports fields and an auditorium that was not falling apart it would draw other families to move here and let their children come to our school. If you had to watch your children play on these fields you would understand the frustration. One day they are muddy and the next as hard as a rock..it's not fair for the kids...and isn't that what schools are for the children?

Just get a new track, there is no need for artificial turf. Lets get it done soon. I'm sure there are people out there who could put a new track in for cheap.

My son played football 9-10-11-12th grade. He played on our fields. He got muddy. Played in snow, rain. It made him tough. I dont think we need to baby the BRCS boys. We pay enough taxes. Hey doodoohead, shows how childish you are. Some people wont ever be as smart as you think you are. It doesnt matter how hard they try. Our tax dollars did the best they could!

Doodoohead-
I can tell you are as intelligent as your post name. My son happens to ride the blue bus - racing stripe and all. I do not find your comment a bit funny.

first of all they need to get better management with all the bullies under control first. because they are going to loose more students to lowville. brcs use to be a good school. i pay taxes to this school and they dont stop the bullies. maybe if yiu would get a better pricipal ect. people would allow the things you need. you just dont care. we do treat us tax payers right and take care of the serious things and we dont care what you need
