Whats up with the Lewis County Trail Coordinator?

no one knows much. Maybe we'll hear more next week? But it must be fairly bad if puppetmaster Rick Lucas couldn't get it smoothed over & swept under the rug.

Must be serious is the police are investigating according to the news article...Maybe he's growing pot along the trails for all his business owner buddies...lol

This has been a total waste of tax payer funds for years. Nothing accomplished. I believe that you will hear of things that will cause even the strongest of stomach's to toss. This is an unfunded county mandate.

I feel this department is a total waste also. Sick of paying taxes for snowmobile and atv trails so people can support the bars. Yet, the sheriff's department who are in desperate need of a new radio system had to cut it out of their budget and also additional cuts which means staff. But yet for how many years has this guy and Eric Virkler had a job and haven't done one thing for progress.....There are a lot of wasted jobs that should not be funded by taxpayers. If they bring in no jobs or resources, cut them from the budget.

There must be there is no way for the Tug Hill Bandits to wriggle out of this one because they suspended him WITHOUT pay. That almost never happens.

In the end they will pay him his back pay and give him a raise too. Because that is how lewis county rolls. him and carp are probably leaving cards all over the place.

Maybe now the county can do a total investigation of this worthless department. Diehl is a trouble maker, and a fabricator. Does whatever he wants and it will get him. Who's idea was this in the first place anyway?

Investigators found misuse of county funds apparently to fund Diehl's chicken wing and Chicken Mcnugget habit.

Tax payers' money should not be squandered. An oversite committee should do a thorough investigation to ease the tax payers' minds then ...

this trail development project should go through! I have seen the effects of a trail system such as this and the benefits are enormous. If you don't want motorized vehicles on the trail this could be one of the stipulations of entering the trail. The area is beautiful. A vast trail system, especially one which connects all others, would improve the tourism immensely. The community could be know for it's well developed trail system. Shouldn't take this long for it to get off-the-ground.

I believe someone else should be spearheading this project because the more it drags on the more tax payers' money will be WASTED.

Just get it done and be over it.

I've been told it has somethin to do with his driveway. Hey nothing wrong, driveways like roads are part of the trail system. It is a turn around point. It is all just a big misunderstanding. Just like this whole Lucas fiasco. Watch allthe finger point comin
