Excellent police work! They protected their lives and didn't have to take one. Another fine example of training that paid off in the end! Job Well Done to both these officers!

Angry Citizen, I agree with you sentiment, however, it said he faces 32 years, not that he is getting it. Knowing our local judges, he'll probably get a year of porobation.

I agree! This is the same DA and judges who are not doing anything about all of the underage drinking at the frat houses at Gettysburg College EVERY WEEKEND. Who cares about the neighbors as long as the DA and new college president get their sleep!!! But when one of their drunken idiot students gets killed running into a car on Carlisle street they'll want to put the poor driver in jail forever! Here's an idea, Gettysburg Times, how about putting a reporter at the college on Friday and Saturday nights, until 0400 am and see what I have to put up with!!!

It is not the DJ and Judges that are not doing anything about the underage drinking! It is the Gettysburg Borough Police Department. They are the ones who have arresting jurisdiction at Gettysburg College. Take the complaint up with Joe, since he is the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Sagittarius

You're in a strange mood, Sagittarius. You're feeling impatient and cross, and nothing is quite right. No wonder, with Mercury and Mars retrograde, under a Full Moon lunar eclipse! But is it necessary to be quite so contrary, so determined to do the opposite of what's expected of you? Try to sort out the problem sooner rather than later, then do something energetic and therapeutic so you can burn off your nervous energy. Then you're all set for a great New Year's Eve!
