Big difference between a good a55 beating and a backhand to the cakehole. Cream puff.
And what would that difference be?

I agree with Terrance, the most likely types of people to act out are the ones that aren't rightly disciplined as children, having nothing to do with race whatsoever! I am white and my mom and dad split up when I was 4, I was in and out of home after home with my mom as we jumped from one man to another, and yet I turned out nothing like her. I have been married to the same man for 10 years now, I have no addictions, I don't steal, and I try very hard to raise my children to be well adjusted, respectful members of society. Sometimes we just have to take responsibility for ourselves, and stop blaming ideals.

You didn't turn out to be a scientist. A single example means nothing.

What's the mystery? Its not a state secret that minorities, especially blacks, are far more likely to be criminals than whites. So why is it so difficult to understand that the criminals started out as obnoxious kids. And I'd be really interested to know what kinds of "disabilities" these kids have. I doubt that kids with real disabilities are being paddled unnecessarily. Chances are that the "disabled" kids are simply troublemakers who have been diagnosed with a politically correct condition in an effort to avoid the real diagnosis: they are sociopaths in need of institutionalization.
blacks are more likely to be interpreted as 'criminals', it is all a matter of perception.

I didnt clarify in my post that I am an African American. My father was and still is married to my mother and I am married to my childrens mother. Please dont assume that black childern grow up in fatherless homes. The children that are more likely to act out are the children who dont receive disclipline at home, regardless of race.
I agree, the troublemakers usually have parents that don't want them, refuse to read to them, make breakfast or dinner for them and then send them into the world unprepared..hense the inner city...my child has friends of color that get good grades, are college bound and have parents who actually care enough to be a parent instead of some loser who chooses to wait for a handout or can't be bothered with the children..it doesn't take a village it takes the love of a parent

Rather than jump to conclusions about minorities being more likely to be paddled, why not do a study on whether or not minorities are more likely to misbehave?
Just insert "misbehave "in place of "paddled" -- makes sense

Lets get real, go on to the hud website and look at the brake down of the familys who are in goverment housing.. 96% Black 93% No Father In Home. This is a fact.. Get over it by the way I am African American as well. Stop pretending there is no problem when there is one with our race!
