It Has Started!!!

There are 27 comments on the story from Feb 22, 2009, titled It Has Started!!!. In it, reports that:

Apparently President Hope n'Change is lying through his pearly whites about our economy being in crisis. Our president just signed an executive order appropriating $20.3 million of your tax dollars for `migration assistance to the Palestinian refugees and conflict victims in Gaza .' It was signed on January 27th and appeared in the Federal Register on February 4th. This is designed to allow hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from Gaza to resettle in the United States ,the same people who voted Hamas into power en masse. And I'll guarantee you that a number of Hamas operatives will slip in as part of the group. The order not only provides free airplane tickets but provides for food and housing allowances, something no other immigrants get. President Obama's decision, according to the Register, was necessitated by "the urgent refugee and migration needs of the victims" and he considers this "in the national interest." Not one major media outlet is publicizing this. We will see more of this... because part of Obama's strategy involves pandering to the Muslim world and importing the sort of immigrants who will fundamentally change the electorate.

Hate to burst your bubble but it's a hoax.
http://snopes.com/politics/obama/palestinians...

Why is everyone so eager to hate this guy. Lets give him a chance or at least rip him apart on
things he actually does.

I hear more people tearing him a new ass over the bail out plan and when asked about Bushes and what effect it hed they go strangely silent.

This is a time in our nations history when we need to work together. Unfortunately, politics as usual have both parties not wanting success for the other for fear they may get re-elected.
So, instead they spend all their efforts trying to destroy eachother at our expense.

We need to throw the whole lot out......but I must admit, I have not had a real "substantiated complaint about Obama to date. I'm sure I will with time.

Well the bailout plan is no plan at all. Timothy Geithner didn't know what it was because it hasn't been told to him yet. And how is it going to fix anything? Its a temporary band-aid on a severed carotid artery. Leaving our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with a massive debt. It stinks.

Every economist out there believes we had to have a bail out plan. If he let the economy fail without one everyone would chastise him for failing to act.
If he came up with an alternate plan, people would tear it apart.

What are your feelings on Bushes? What did it do besides provide bonuses and vacations for bank presidents? How positive was his plan that was over 1/2 of this one?

Do you not see that the previous administrations of Bush and Clinton bear the brunt of the blame for this. Clinton opened free trade with China, Bush let the war machine get totally out of control and Halliburton had a field day....at the expense of our kids.

The problems started long before Obama got into office.

I voted for Bush twice and I think the last two years he was the most useless piece of crap I have ever seen.
The blame needs to be shared equally with both parties.

It bothered me to no end when the Democrats jumped on Bush for every little thing he did. At least they waited till he he was in office for a while. The Republican hate machine reminds me of whinning school children that lost a race.

Please understand this is not personal towards you. You have the right to believe what you choose and write what you want.I respect anyone with the gumption to discuss. We can't learn without discussion.

I agree that this started a long time ago. But if the bailouts haven't worked in the past what makes anyone think they will work now? So where is the 'change'? There is none. What has Obama done differently? And thats because we don't have two parties anymore. They have meshed into one. He was supposed to pull out our troops by now. Where are they? Real change would have been Ron Paul.'Abolish the Fed, bring our troops home, go back to the gold standard. Now they're just sitting around in Washington with their feet propped up, trying to decide which of their rich cronies gets more of our tax dollars. Nothing has changed. Just another Bush. And BTW, if we were already deeply in debt, where'd we get $1.2 trillion? And how much will the next bailout be for? What about the one after that?

And as far as the validity of this story, how do you know its not true? We've been fed so much propaganda for so long, who knows? So....I trust no one!(We are instructed not to). So how do you know? Is Snopes sources really reliable???? Is Snopes REALLY Snopes????......and....are you REALLY Wolfgang????......lol

Nothing personal to you either. I love a good debate. I love to hear others views and opinions. It opens a door to learning, understanding and wisdom.

Well said Homesick, I would still like to see a little more time before we totally trash the guy.

You are quite correct with the propganda issues. What is reality? Only what we, as individuals perceive it to be. Wide range of spectrums there.

As far as the money....that is our Governments version of reality.lol

I did vote for Ron Paul. I wish he was a more dynamic figure so people may have listened. I had a few sparks of life when Romney was in but all ceased to exist when we ended up with our two choices.

Ashame so many feel that way.

Well Obama is going to speak tonight and we will watch. And I will want to believe him. But I will keep my expectations very low so I won't have to be all that dissapointed. The stimulus won't help. The package is so chock-full of pork it is unbelievable. Hundreds of thousands for things like the study or management of crickets, blackbirds, grapes, beaver, poultry & blueberry, and 1.8 million for the study of 'swine odor management'. Oh, and 'tatoo removal', Meanwhile too many families can't put food on the table and children are going to bed hungry. And our veterans that fought for us are suffering and can't get what they need. And of course the bulk of it is going to the people who need is the least. Where is the fairness? Anyway, I'm still keeping my hopes up! I still want to give him a chance. I was hoping there were many more people that would weigh in on this. But, it looks like you and me, wolfgang!lol

We seem to be all of Crockett at the moment.

I do like the tattoo removal thing though....I hate tattoos.

Keep in mind nothing gets through Congress without a lot of useless bills attached to it. Our Senators and Congress (Persons) owe a lot of special interest groups. They have been doing it forever.
It does need to stop though, my Frauline (spelling)?

Well, it sounded real good. Dare we hope? I heard benefits for veterans, wonderful. But there was something for almost everything and everyone. It almost sounded like he was going to fix absolutely everything and give us back our old America. Is it one of those cases of 'If it sounds too good to be true....'? We'll keep our hopes up and see what happens. What say you? Did you watch?

I did watch it and I have decided that Nancy Pelosi was a cheerleader in High School. I wanted to jump into ther t.v. and tell her to sit down and wipe that stupid smile from her face.

In all honesty I am repulsed by my Congress. When I look at them I truly believe they don't have a clue. They are so far removed from reality it's scarey.

I also believe Obama has lost his ability to speak fromt he heart. I am not sure I can blame him but he did sound like a "politician"
I will still reserve judgement at this point.

Heaven help us all when we see what we have deciding our future.........ouch

LOL. Yes I noticed Nancy Pelosi too. She probably has jaw cramps from smiling so much. And several times the whole room stood up and clapped. Do you think they had cue cards or some of those little lights over the podium that says 'Stand' and 'Applaud'. lol

I think Pelosi was the cue card. What a piece of work.

I couldn't sit and watch the expert anylasis. I had enough listening to the speach and watching the Congress without adding fuel to the fire.

Sure is getting hard to stay motivated to work.

Ditto, ditto, & ditto. They are removed from reality. Been living like kings on 'we the peoples' money for too long. And a 'whole lot' are already questioning their choice. Still we have to 'hope for change'.

But......tatoo removal? Why should our tax dollars pay for someone else's bad choices? Let em take a Marx-a-lot and cover it up! lol

I would personally pay for most tattoos to be removed....I don't like em. I told my kids if they get one they better place it where I can't see it...or their out of the will.lol

Well I have no objection to tatoos if people want them (have family members with them). But if they think they made a mistake I don't want to pay for it. So you will personally pay? Great! We'll send all the LA gang-bangers (where our taxes are going) to you. LOL
