I just want to say I agree to everyone that says it is a disgrace to all law enforcement. The little white cop that looks like he is under age needs to change professions if he is a real officer. If he showed up at my house he wouldn't disrespect any human ever again. Oh and his name is officer Sikes so he calls himself. He also has made several comments against are armed forces. He is nothing but a disgrace to the United States Of America. His parents should feel terrible knowing they raised a complete disrespectful idiot. Maybe someone needs to tell him is okay to let her hair grow out and take the duct tape off his breast because if he is a male he has no nuts.

After what happened in Kaufman and now Sulphur Springs maybe everyone needs to get their mind back on policing and not so much on the camera getting their good side.

I would hate to be a cop in Trinity after the show come back on ,the new name for the CMT show will be Fat Cops ,don't take my word just go Google it. I feel bad for the cops that work here that are not on the show and feel bad for the people of Trinity. Thanks Steve and Randy for one more kick in the nuts for Trinity County.

Guess I have to watch more fat cops to like it. As for the warrant round up and the black officer got stuck cleaning the cell didnot surprise me that it is from east Texas. As for the young skinny dude he seems to be a punk in a uniform I worked with a few like him. As for the show keep the humor in the office it was not very professional.

Having recently retired, thirty years, from a medium sized TX. Police department I found the show entirely enjoyable. Having worked with some of the
most insufferable egos, patrol ranks, and narcissistic command staffers, I found this department refreshing! The chief seems to be a down to earth guy! I guess he hasn't been to the FBI N.A.? Thank God!
I wonder if they have any reserve positions open? I would really enjoy working there!

If you know these guys, you know that they are seriously who they are on the show. They have fun razzing and pranking each other all the time!! Being a police officer--even in a small town like Trinity, can be very stressful and it's their way of dealing with it!! Kudo's to our officers---just wish the show didn't have such an ugly name!!! Episodes 5 & 6 were entertaining and the funniest yet! Looking forward to the rest!!

A large part of policing is earning the publics respect. This show definitely does NOT promote respect for professional police officers. This was a hugh mistake by the town and the Chief to participate in this mess. The title of the show is NOT Big Texas Heat. On my cable system its called Fat Cops. the residents of this town need to voice their displeasure and demand this thing ends.

I have spoke with the officer not involved in the show. I asked him why he was not in the show and what his thoughts was about the show and cast. The officer said he did not get involved in the show because of personal reasons. He said he wished all they guys the best of luck and he hope everything works out great for them because there a good group of officers.
of course it was "person al reasons". Do you think he was foolish enough to openly oppose the Chief and the Town Council. That would have been professional suicide. I'm sure he's smart enough to realize what a joke the show is and also smart enought to keep his mouth shut and not get involved
