Hi! I just found the Geezer Rock Station of Lovelady today.

I can't stand whiny country stuff either. I remember Zombie Guy from KIVY from my childhood....yuck.

I know it would be too much to ask to get jazz or classical around here, since I can barely get 88.9 Public Radio and not on all my radios either.

Please read my blog and comment:

I'm in Grapeland.

Enjoying the Rockslide! It's still hard to believe you can hear Billion Dollar Babies and Sanitorium within a few minutes of each other on a local station.

Still waiting for some Zappa, though!

Maybe some Jeff Beck thrown in and I'll run out and buy a bag of weed! Not sure where to find it though, It's been a while.

I have been listening and enjoying most, with the exception of the heavy metal. But, no ones perfect!

Hey now...nothing wrong with a little metal! I've really enjoyed listening to some metal on the local airwaves. Just wished they would not play the same Dio song over and over.

Count your blessings, my friend...they could be playing gangsta rap.

Ouch, the rap would be a tough sell here, or would it.lol

Never been a metal fan. I know lots of folks thta love it. I guess in the name of fairness and equal playing time I will have to learn to live with it!

Like WOW MAN I feel almost younger again. I haven't heard some of this stuff since my vinyls got lost in shipment 35 yrs ago. My wife won't drive in my pick-up now cause I play the music toooooo loud.

I have heard a lot of music straight out of my brains archives.
I'll jump up and shout 'damn, I haven't heard this in decades!"

I agree. I love to feel my music, but I don't want to feel everyone else's. I can't stand it when I feel the boom in my head and can't enjoy the music.
